Yami no Matsuei (Decendants of Darkness) Gathering 2010

So me and a couple friends were planing to do Yami no Matsuei cosplays on Friday and were wondering if there was anybody else out there who wold be interested in joining us! We were thinking more on the early side of the day since I'm running another gathering at 5:30, but the exact time and location are still up for discussion.

So if you would like to join in let me know who you're going as!

Also, Fanime will be taking group pictures during the Gathering/Event this year. If you do not want to be included in those pictures please step aside for those photos. By remaining with the group when the pictures are being taken you give your consent to be photographed.

Haven't picked anything definite yet...Duo and I were thinking maybe noon or something like that I think. I wanted to wait and see if anybody else was interested and collect opinions on preferred times.

All I know for sure right now is that it's gonna be on Friday, and it'll be earlier in the day because I'm leading another gathering at 5:30 and need time to change and whatnot.

Oh wow...look at that. The only people to post here are me, the person I created the gathering with/for and one other lucky person (I'm looking at you Edward Elric). For anybody else who may stumble across this thread in the future...we're going to meet up but it won't be an official gathering. Just not enough people interested.

So here's the plan! We're meeting at the gathering site FHS: Front Hilton Side of the Convention Center Lobby (tree area up in the corner) at 1 in the afternoon. For those interested see ya there!

It only takes 4 to make a gathering so there are enough cospeeps ^^) PM me with the info and your real name, forum name and be sure to check in to the gatherings table. I see no reason why this can't be official. ^^) You can even do 3 or 4:30 PM on Friday since nothing is in those time slots, if you wanted. :) Hope to see your PM soon!

I can understand why you might think that, but I have seen a gathering of 5 turn into a gathering of 15 because it was listed and a group of other people who were new to Fanime happened to be cosplaying from the same series. I can't say that will happen for you, but you could collect one or two more and then it wouldn't be 4 :)

There are those anime, manga, and video games that have 3 or 4 primary characters and a group of friends decide to do them. Since it would represent the majority of characters then it should be considered. Four also stands out a little amongst the crowd (though minor if it is really crowded) so people would have you pose for a quick shot. Though a small number it makes a pretty good base line to show the difference in what is and isn't a gathering.

Glad everyone likes the idea and I hope this group gets a little bigger for some really nice photos. Look forward to the PM with all the info so I can get this on the list. :)
