I was the game version of Matthew Patel, which is to say I wore the version with a black jacket instead of tan. I wore the cosplay on Saturday and Monday, mostly at the Scott Pilgrim gathering on the latter.

Now, a bit of a wrinkle. Turns out my buddy didn't do such a good job taking photos of me at the gathering and I need sample pics for my Cosplay.com profile. If anyone would be kind enough to give me permission to post any good pics of me, that would be fantastic. I'd be happy to give credit to anyone who lent me pics of, uhhh, me.

Just so you know, it's almost impossible to make a wig a lighter color. 

But if you decide you want to try anyway, I'd recommend checking out the Wigs forum over at cosplay.com - there's instructions for a couple different safe ways to dye wigs, including Sharpies, FW ink, and copic markers.

Uhh, I bought a wig for my cosplay, and it occurred to me a little late that the shade was a bit...dark. I had the idea to dye it... But I'm kinda afraid that the dye would damage the wig, which would be very bad. If this is a stupid, stupid query, keep in mind that I've never dealt with hair dye before. But yeah, Fanime is getting very close, and it'd be nice to know if I can fix my mistake beforehand.

I feel sorry for anyone dumb enough to try and gank someone at Fanime. I also would feel very angry towards them. Whoever it is should leave their grudge out of the convention. It's Fanime for Chrissakes!

What I meant to say is that I too have a love for assigning stats and dice to stories and stuff. I can never get past the first few words, though, so I've never really gotten anything down.

I'm not sure you should be correcting others since I'm seeing three missing apostrophes, three words that should be capitalized, and one outright misspelled word. Unless you're referring to the place Ur, near present-day Iraq. In which case, I'm not sure anyone knows what they're planning.

In any case, I'm in, though I might be (read: will) be under leveled.

Man, I hope they have a tourney for KH. I should have my 'Tour Group' deck by then...

Well, it's not a talent show, per se. I mean, it's not like there's a winner or anything. It's more like a gathering for people who want to show off how good (or bad) they are at nothing in particular-- Be it a shot at the Haruhi dance or a quick try at getting the words down to "Hero's Come Back".

As for it being done at Fanime before, I'm not sure, since I've not seen it before at Fanime. Truth be told, I got the idea from AX.

I'd be happy to clash swords and wits in the game Final Fantasy Tactics: The War of the Lions. Though I give no quarter...

It'd be cool if there was some kind of space reserved for people to do random stuff and be seen by other people doing random stuff-- singing, dancing, impressions, monologues, etc. etc.

Of course, there'd have to be someone to moderate the event...
