Things in the Universe / Re: Haha, fun date today
« on: June 13, 2008, 04:43:47 PM »
heh. I thought this thread was about somebody's date with someone else. -.-;

Likewise, I jumped to conclusions.
I went into panic from him starting this thread. Was he not at work? Worse yet, has some hoodlum girl stolen my beloved brothers heart?!
Simply unacceptable. How would I get rid of her? Bury her alive? Sink her in the lake? Grind her into hot dogs?  Oh the possibilities!

Anywho: there never is a difference to me when the day comes by.  The Friday hangout people are all probably going to die though…

What the hell, Lisu? Lol, man, that made my day. Like you, I had assumed this was about dating, not the date: Friday the 13th. I could care less about the date. It's just still another boring day. Kinda. I at least have a guest at my house, so it's not that boring.

Oh, dude, I remember you. The Kilik player--the one who didn't get much sleep... right? I hope you rested up for the tournament. Oh, uh, and if you don't remember me, I was the nightmare player. A little after I played, Ohsu stepped in with his Raphael. Good games.

I should really take my time for this post.
Let me begin by saying that this was the best Fanime ever for me. The people, that is you, the board members, made my experience so memorable, and when I really needed it, too. I'll address individuals because it is they who made Fanime for me.

Jun: You were never boring. Nope. Not once during the con did I ever find your company uninteresting. Fact is, without you, I would have wandered most of the con on solo, so thank you. Really, honestly, truly thank you. You made me feel like I belonged. I don't understand why, but I am so proud to have you and Mikey as my friends. Let's hang again, Jun. You've got first row to my graduation if you can make it. I promise.

Mikey: While it is true that we didn't really get to hang (much) during the con, meeting you was an experience in itself. I wish I could have conveyed my thanks a little more, but let me make up for that now. Whether you know it or not, you helped me get closer to my brother, and although it might have seemed to be a rather small thing you did, providing info about his gaming life, that knowledge helped bridge a gap that was as deep as it was wide. I love my brother, but like I, he also has trouble bonding with family. So... thank you, Mikey. Thanks for everything.

Lisu: Man, oh, man! Where do I even begin? The little things you did really meant something. Simply saying hi meant inviting me to meet others. I was meeting people for the first time, most of whom were huge factors in my life (Claudia would be an example), but you took away my nervousness; you were so welcoming and... just there, dude. You got me into the Touhou gathering. You got me in the group. You got me a seat in Masquerade when I was about to get the boot. Lisu, I'll be honest. I had a negative impression of you on the boards despite our previous encounters, but if there's anything I can take away from Fanime, it's this: it's good to have and make friends. I don't what I mean to you, Lisu, but to me, you're my friend. Thanks, man.

Kazuko: Kazuko, my original G. Let's begin with me saying this: Swap Meet was like selling coke. Dangerous.  Profitable. Illegal. Yeah, that summed up the Swap Meet pretty well, if you ask me. You know why, but shhhhhhhhhhhh! That's our own little story~ My apologies for not hanging out more with you. Things came up. Time ran out. But, I know I'll see you more in the future. It was fun, Kazuko. Let's trying something funky next year, okay? TEWI, TEWI, TEWI, TEWI, TEWI!

Spinny and Friends: I doubt you're reading this, but thank you all. I didn't really understand at first, but your invitation to join you in spontaneous dancing really made Sunday great. It will be a story to remember and tell, guys. Thanks for the Caramelldansen.

Things in the Universe / Fanime Videos/Pictures (As Promised)
« on: May 28, 2008, 10:01:17 PM »
Okay, I recall promising some people that I'd put some videos and pictures up. I'm still working on the pictures, but here are the videos:

Huge Caramelldansen at 9:30 PM Sunday: <-- read the info for details. We're hoping to make this a tradition every 9:30 Sunday Fanime. 2 - 3 months before fanime, a notice will be posted with a dance video. You don't have to copy the exact dance in the video, but it would be appreciated if you want to join the dance on Sunday Fanime (this is not official yet).

Black and White Ball:

Spinzaku Fanime 2008 Compilation (These are photos) <--- give it a moment before the music starts.

Some people have asked me about the protesters from 4chan. I am sorry, but I cannot provide the video for personal reasons.

Photos that I took will be up later. Thank you to everyone who participated!

Man... if I could say exactly what I want to say...

I guess that's the beauty of it though.

And to add, mad stuff sold during Friday's Swap Meet. I got Chun's, uh... dvd set of this one anime. I could check the name, but I can't look through my stuff right now, since my dad's sleeping, but yeah. Also sold off Valkyrie profile and other games. So far, I'm loving it. Bah dup dup dup daaaaah... Please don't kill me... TT3TT

Sunday night at 9:30 pm.
Caramel Dansen with a bunch of people.
I've got a video, and I've got a story for you. I'll post it when I get home and upload the images and video.
I also got the 4channers protesting the closing of Mikey's panel. History on my camera, baby.

Yeah. Not a problem. I've got a nifty camera with me this time, so I'll be going crazy with it.

I love how all cards I owned now are banned. Great way to make old players come back, Yugioh.

The last convention I went to all i had was water and goldfish

I went to go eat out when I got super hungry!!

That... that's hardcore.
As for me, since this is the only time I get to spend with the fanime folks, I try to eat with them if possibly, although the last few times, I've just gone out with family to eat.

Is it out on DVD yet? It's been in theaters for ages.

But yeah, all us Type-Moon addicts have been anticipating it for a while. Me moreso than most because it's the only thing in the past, like, 2 or 3 seasons of anime that has a Kajiura soundtrack.

The release date says May 21, 2008 (In Japan), so it should be out now. I pre-ordered it already here:

Anyone looking forward to this movie like I am?
I doubt I'll see a copy of it at Fanime though. but there could be a small chance.
So I'm still debating if I should just buy a copy online now or wait until after Fanime.

Things in the Universe / Re: Why is it hot??
« on: May 15, 2008, 05:28:32 PM »
It's so hot, plus what sucks is I have physical education today. ._.
103 outside... Yeah. Not fun at all.

Last time I checked, the weather wasn't reducing you to a sweaty pile of goo. You got the perfuuuuuume.
*starts singing Perfect Star

Went to eat at a restaurant. Went to the grocery store to get food for the next week. Then she helped me get all the fucking moths out of the pantry. Takano 101 on those suckers. And, uh, we talked about how we were going to handle the harassing fuckwad who keeps harassing us aka the step dad.

I'll chance it since I can easily overpower you. <3

Time to paint a line where I want it!
1) Ask her how heavy she is.
2) Ask her when was the last time she smoked canned dope.
3) Ogle her finely-designed pants pockets.
4) Take her out to a insanely rich couples' place.
5) Take her out, as in K.O.
6) Drag in a dead cat.
7) Drag in a living mouse.
8) Talk to her about your future mother-in-law.

You sure have a sexy/hot/expensive/lovely dog/cat/mouse/dad/mom/sister/brother/cousin!
24/7, guuuurl, I'm out with my Eskimo t-shirt and D-dally dog J-tune jeans.
Joking, of course. Interesting link there, OP.

... Besides waiting in line to pay up, I'll sneak around and check the rooms out first before I hang out with anybody. I don't know about the Fanime folks, but for me, Fanime is a time where I can wander around freely and just think about things. No one really knows my face, so there's a different atmosphere that sometimes leads me into thinking, "Hey... I'm finally away from school." It's kinda nice. I'm... finally away.

So, what about you guys? What's the first thing you're going to do?

Things in the Universe / Re: What is your most prized item?

5'2" =D
I win.

I never noticed your height. Maybe because I never really see you at school. Oh! WAIT!

Oh, God. Don't kill me.

Besides Advanced Placement tests, the only real fun I'm going to have is going to be with my cousin and classmate. Going to go learn how to battle, and I get the feeling my cousins going to take us to a club to battle >_>;;
