so i was thinking, people are always saying a bunch of stuff about the bands at fanime... bad and good things.... so i thought i would start a topic about who you want to see at fanime... and i am not talking world famous bands from Japan.. But maybe some good local bands?

- I got sick
- I got my friend sick

Seems like a lot of people got sick... Maybe there was some thing in the climate control system?  Or maybe someone working registration was sick?

I think there was because I and three of my friends all started feeling icky.. and so did a LOT of other people

do you know when group reg is gonna be online?

So, I know everyone has their favorites and all but I have to go with this guy.
on behalf of all the lades he had to have been the sexiest male (I think) at the con.
I have been trying to figure out who he is but to no avail.
I saw him at the masquerade, but he did not win anything and that was a let down. awesome costume by far, should have walked away with something. At the con he was in character the whole time, as far as I know he did not speak the entire time. Other wise I would have asked him questions.
So, if anyone has any info, lets hear it.

It looked to me like he baught his costume... and he cared way to much about getting attention when people ignored him he would hang his head and walk away slowly as a last attmept to get them to look. I did see him take his bandanna and hat off at one point and talk to a person though I hear no mention of his costume. I don't even think it's one person more like 3 combined....

i dunno... i didn't even see him talk, much less look like he wanted attention.. but w/e.. and as to his costume, i have no idea what that is.. but it looks kool! Lol, but lots of people dress up as diff things that have nothing to do with anime, or are just random costumes they wanted to where..

ah well.. doesn't really matter to me.. lol

I am glad the king suits went down.. our Anime club has to book 2 of those for 3 nights... eek... lots of people brining sleeping bags though :''\

As i have said before, they CANNOT create another anime. It's impossible. They ended it, there's no way to go back to the rgular series after the ending they put onto the anime. It's too far off base, and too final... this topic is almost pointless, because they CAN'T create another anime...

But if you were to re-animate the anime with the techniques we find today and the full plot of the manga, it'd be insanely awesome (and heartbreaking.)

A Furuba remake can happen. It's as likely as every other series that may warrant a facelift. Just that it's up to Takaya-san first to approve of it.

I would be quite happy if they re-animated it.. then they could kill the ending...

and as to the varioius comments about my remark... i wasn't saying that people couldn't talk.. it's just that they killed all hopes of another season whith the ending they put on it. If they changed it -put a diff ending- then they could deffinetly crate another series.. i was just commenting -as someone who has read the manga's- that they were way off the manga with the ending -not to say it wasn't a very nicely done, and a very touching ending- they just couldn't continue the anime... unless they put on an alternate ending of course...

i watched the anime version first all the way through and LOVED it. Then a little while after i read the the first volume of the manga.

The manga- i don't like the vibe i get from the characters in the manga, i don't know if it's just me, but they seem waaay more tense/cold it doesn't seem fun-loving and that's what i enjoyed about the anime. Though keep in mind i've only read volumes 1/2/10(i think) of the manga so i haven't given the manga much of a chance.

I really liked what they did with the anime, and i think it'd be cool if they could contiune the series in whatever way they can, because i really enjoyed it myself ^_^.

I think my view has to do with the fact that i read the manga first... i suppose if you look at the anime at just that, totally detatched from the manga... then i suppose it's good, but in comparison.... the manga is WAY better...

i have to say i think fruits basket anime sucked, i really like the Manga, but the anime was crap.... my friends and i were talking, and there's no way they could start up the anime after the ending of the series.. they ended the story line compleatly & screwed up the story line... bleg.. i hope they don't...

Well, i don't really have all that many...

I want to have more time to work on my cosplay costumes (meaniung this year i am going to have more then one)

I want to get my Anime Club going strong so that we can all go to fanime & have fundraisers and stuff... all four day's with two hotel rooms for 3 nights... 0.0 gah that will be a lot of fundraisers.. but w/e...

so yeah,.... not a whole lot.. but big things...

I stayed at the Hilton with two other people.. i loved it, direct acces to the con, room was easy to get to, good pricing & the bed was SOOOO comphy!!! I really thought it was a great experince overall..

Truth be told, most anime clubs just turn into group screening sessions and some socializing time off on the side.  It's a winning formula that has perpetuated through the decades.

I run an anime club at my school (high skool)

and that's about what we do....

we also trade manga/anime around and will be attending Fanime as a group next year,....
