I havent lost anything extremely signifanct, but this year my best friend did get married and moved away which did incite a lot of heartbreak considering we barely see each other at all anymore since she married into the army, but Id love to make a crane for her and her husband, who Ive also known for years. Right now he is deployed and Id like crane to symbolize his safe return to her and us.

I just want to be sure, again, because I asked a while ago, that my Velma isn't welcome to this event.

My boyfriend has all black shiny tennis shoes which can appear like formal wear shoes. Would they be okay? And his pants are long black pants which I have hemmed for him to go to about heel length, so his shoes will only really have the tip exposed. His laces and whatever the flap is called won't be showing. And his shoes are more low rise compared to these.

I am going to be cosplaying Gumi from Vocaloid and I was curious about what people think.. Should I do french tipped nails with the tip being green or go for a full green nail? It's driving me crazy because I don't know what would look better. The outfits I am doing are a Neko Maid Gumi [Shown below in my siggy] and Coward Mont Blanc [Also in siggy], but I am also - for Sunday - going to the Black and White Ball in a ballgown and I want these nails to last throughout the weekend. Would french tip be more desirable considering I will be wearing something formal along the way or would the full green nail still look fine?

Ill try to be there if it doesn't interfere with any other activities I have planned or cosplay gatherings. This will also be my boyfriend's very first convention, so i have to be respectful of what he wants to do as well.

I actually have a blonde wig with detachable pigtails now, so I can use that instead since Harley and Alice have blonde hair. Also I have bright blue contacts for both of them too. I just want to make sure it's okay.

Does Velma Dace Dinkley from 'Scooby Doo!' count as old school even though she's not from an anime, manga, or video game? :D I sure hope so since I just completed her today!
