Hey, Mr. Wendell

Is the Stage Zero After Hours going to be video programming as in the past?

Thanks

Stage Zero After Hours is going to be a dynamic part of late night programming at Stage Zero this year. It will be a combination of live programming as well as video programming. Events may change for every night, but we will have a schedule of planned video and live programming everything listed at Stage Zero.

We hope to bring a little more lively yet safe fun to the night hours of FanimeCon 2014.

In the past have any bands performed live video game and anime music? Would that even be allowed?  :)

Unfortunately, current San Jose Convention Center regulations do not permit Stage Zero to have live bands performing on our Stage.

25
Gee, I thought I made all the correct changes to the cut and paste...

Thank you for the proofread. Edited and hopefully people will perform on our Stage!

Stage Zero will be in the same place as in previous years.  :)

A few of my Stage Zero staff and friends wouldn't mind this song being danced to from your demonstrations on our stage:

You might hear a few YESses from us upon hearing it.

Thank you for your consideration.

As much as we love this idea, unfortunately, Stage Zero would not be able to broadcast it on our projection screen.

34
May not be able to make it to the Black & White Ball due to my Stage Zero commitments, but for the Black and White Ball Demonstrations on Stage Zero, I'd love to see a Tango/Argentine Tango done to something from Gotan Project.

General Convention Discussion / Re: Fanime Fun Facts and Trivia
« on: March 06, 2012, 02:05:14 PM »
I wonder for last year, had the San Jose Sharks came back to beat the Vancouver Canucks in Game 5, and Game 6 happened at the Shark Tank, would it have made a dent or added to FanimeCon's numbers...

I know at least a few of the FanimeCon staff would have gone missing...  ;)

I'm glad I clicked Preview before I posted, because I just saw what my honorable co-head wrote.

To which I reiterate and reply "What Barber said." ^

37
Pretty much everything. Overall I had an amazing time at Fanime.
Seeing Yoshiki defiantly made the entire week. I also had a ton of fun at the B&W Ball, the panels I saw. As well as getting the chance to run Stage Zero.

I can't wait till next year :)

You did great on Stage Zero.  Thank you for hosting our late night music video blocks! :)

Ideas and Suggestions / Re: Theme for Fanime 2012
« on: June 03, 2011, 03:57:15 PM »
I have to say, the boys at Stage Zero, Mr. Rob Miles, and myself and been planning for Sports as a them for 3 years now.  We have been dying for the chance to sink our teeth into this.

Think of all the great sports themed anime.  I mean, is not catching Pokemon a sport?
Let's break it down (sorry Kevin)
Prince of Tennis-Unquestionably huge anime with its own live show!
Slam Dunk-The penultimate anime about Basketball that spawned so many titles

Hockey?  You got it!
Go!! Southern Ice Hockey Club
My Heavenly Hockey Club

There has been boxing anime, baseball anime with most coming from Manga.

So, I know most of Fanime is not necessarily sportsmen, but most have appreciated a sports anime or two.

Now you will have to excuse me, I need to catch up on Eyeshield 21, my football anime!

Don't forget the soccer inspired animes of Captain Tsubasa and Giant Killing...

Also, remember, 2012 is also a Summer Olympics year...  you know what that means, a parade of nations!  Yeah, I'm talking to you Hetalians.  I trust you can do something inspired out of that.

My mind is going nuts over ideas for the Sports theme.  My Stage Zero folks would love to work with our fellow FanimeCon staff as soon as possible (that is after we've recovered from this year! ;) ) to make Sports for 2012 an amazing and memorable theme that attendees won't forget.

Live Programming and Events / Stage Zero 2011 Feedback
« on: May 31, 2011, 04:04:19 PM »
Stage Zero would like to thank all the FanimeCon 2011 attendees who came by our Stage.

We are looking for feedback from attendees and fellow staffers about our show this year. What is it that you like? What is it you didn't like? What would you like to see back? What do you think we can change? Any and all feedback will be greatly appreciated.

Hey folks! If you've taken some photos around the convention and would love to share them with everyone at FanimeCon, drop them off at Stage Zero, and we'll showcase some of our favorites during our shows of "What you Missed At FanimeCon" and even a part of our morning shows "What's Happening At FanimeCon Today"!

We will have available a multi-card reader to recognize most camera cards.  These pictures will also be seen during Closing Ceremonies as well!
