The costume is super well-made! I really like the quality, it just doesnt fit right. But it'll be fine once its altered a little bit, so its no big problem. I'm just uber exited about Fanime :3 So much that my school work is suffering...>.< oog.

I just got my costume in ^.^ I ordered it from moon costumes and it *is* nice, but the jacket is really wonky. Like..its really big around, and its really short. Not quite what it looked like on the site. But the rest of it is really good! I'm so impressed by the rose buttons lol. But I was curious for those of you who also ordered from them, was your jacket in any way like mine?

Basically, they're just customized badges artists can make for you. You choose a style of badge from a few different variations, then the artist will draw an anime-tized pic of you or your character. They're fun, cute, and kind of like keepsakes. My friend got one last year and its amazing how the artist can draw you so accurate as an anime character :3  I'm almost tempted to buy one for myself this year~

General Anime Chat / Which anime did you really connect with?

The anime that STILL blows me away every time I see it is Kaleido Star. Its so unique and incredible, it never ceases to amaze me. The story, the creativity, and all the trials Sora endures kept me guessing while on the edge of my seat the entire time. And it really makes you want to believe.

Emotionally, I really was taken back by [spoilers?] the ep of FMA where Hughes died. They did a really good job of portraying all the characters feelings so that you could like..feel it too when you were watching.

Then there's Spirited Away. It was such a great story and was told so well. No one but Miyazaki could have done it. I wanted to cry for joy in the end where Chihiro helped Haku remember his name and then they're both falling from the sky holding hands..=^= *sniff* So..Beautiful!

General Convention Discussion / Anyone from Sacramento going to Fanime?

I'm right next door. Fanime was my first con, and I attend Sacanime too. But there is truely no comparison. I commute to my HS in Auburn tho, so thats gonna add another hour or so to my drive on Fri. You know what I've been dieing to do tho? Is put a sign in my back window that says "Fanime or else" XD isnt that riduculous? Im also considering driving down in cosplay since I have a meet first thing when I arrive :3
