Roommate Wanted!

+ Introduction: Hi! My name is Julia, and I've been going to Fanime since 2005 and cosplaying since 2006. My room is filled with 20-something year olds right now and we want to stuff a few extra people in to bring the costs down. We're all pretty chill so it should be a fun room!

+ Hotel Information: Marriott, Friday-Monday

+ Costs: $80 per person, pay in cash upon meet-up.

+ Requirements: Hygiene is extremely important- please shower and don't make a huge mess. Would PREFER a girl, but beggars can't be choosers at this point, right? We might drink a little in the room, but it wouldn't anything crazy. Just be respectful when people are sleeping too!

So I've finished my prelim costume and its my best work yet, but it is not photographed yet. Should I photograph it and include it in the resume or is it better to showcase other costumes? How important is the resume compared to the actual skit performance? Are there still slots open? Will the skit carry much weight in the audition? Is it preferred to have an audio CD prepared beforehand with audio/music? Does the cosplayer need to bring in reference images of the costume? Thanks so much in advance!

Will cameras be allowed at the concert, reception, and autograph sessions? Will people be allowed to line up at the ticket-pick up booth before it opens, or will the lines be broken up? Thank you for answering! : )

I have questions:
For lighting, can there be tinted lighting? Like, at 0:30 seconds, can the lights be red, and turn to blue at 1 minute? Can there be flashing lights temporarily? (like the Pretear skit last year) and can you have a spotlight following someone? Thanks alot!

Is it ok to enter in a costume that has already won a prize at a con in the bay area? (not previous fanimes)

Onigokko is the japanese equilvalent of "tag and hide and seek", and it can be played on a grannnnd scale (aka Convention Center). Initially, there will be a 4:1 ratio to the hiders to the seekers, but as time goes on, more seekers are added to find the remaining hiders. The time limit is usually 1 hour, but 30 minutes would be better, as to make it more fast paced. Whoever can outlast the 30 minutes will be given....honor? A hider is out when the seeker tags them, so there will be running. As to not bother the rest of the convention community as much, this event will be in the night, when most of the convention/cosplay community will be gone in their hotel rooms chilling or whatever. To know who will be playing, all hiders will wear a bright bandana or t shirt or something, while seekers will be wearing something akin to the scream mask that is worn during halloween. What do you guys think and who is interested?

Miyavi and the rest of S.K.I.N. lolololollolol I doubt the SKIN is gonna happen, but it might happen with Miyavi? He's going on a world tour anyway, and is stopping in the USA. AN cafe is also having a world tour and they're comming here, so Miyavi should come too!

Waugh, I emailed the masq. coordinator a month ago about being emergency craftmanship judged on sunday, and she hasn't gotten back to me yet. The members in my group can't make it on any day aside from Sunday, which is why we need to be emergency judged. The deadline of getting the masq. coordinator's approval passed. What should I do?
