I think Crows Zero 1 and 2 would be a great back to back showing. Both are excellent Takashi Miike films

General Convention Discussion / Re: Day 0: Worth It?
March 28, 2014, 01:59:37 PM
I've not missed a day 0 in 13yrs, I will add  that it is pretty boring compared to the other 4 days.  I think its ideal for the vendors, staff, and press so they can link up and party or chill out

Just a heads-up to anyone who hasn't registered yet, after midnight on March 31st the price for early registration is going to jump up to $75 instead of the current $55.

$75 is the at-con price so starting Tuesday the only advantage to early registration will be Day 0 badge pick-up.

Really...It showing $65 right now

Yes, it started at $55 and has already gone up to $65, but admiral donuts is right about it going up to $75 after the 31st.

Misread...so what is the advantage of pre-reg these days back in 99-04 they would mail them to you so you didn't have to stand in some long line *like last years*... honestly saving $10 bucks doesn't show any value right about now, can some one give me some pros other than a fancy badge.

Cons:
There was absolutely no line at the double tree.. got my badge in 10 minuted. I wish the Con did a better job announcing the two locations tho, i did stand in the long line for 30min and it barely moved...weak. >:(
No friends to hang with this year...was the lonliest con I've had in 13 years

Pros:
Evangelion 3.33
Ruroni Kenshin Live action movie
Some funny ass- AMV's and Parody films
Massively packed Rave on all nights kids are learning to rave properly now thanks to Skrillex ;)
I got leftover food at 3am when the caterers left 8)
Bought a sick looking Katana for $150

Part 2 is available and B2B showings would be FREEKING AWESUM and smart!

Would like to meet up with environmentally aware people who are into anime.  Discuss some themes brought up in anime that we could share to people (eg. Mononoke-save trees).
