I think I would've liked a section for portable gamers to just get together and see what they have and get any multiplayer games together.  Otherwise, people are just scattered and end up doing their own thing.  One of the anime conventions I've been to was a LOT smaller where the gaming section was basically a normal-sized room, but because of that people just sat on the floor with the portables and would all be in wifi/talking range of each other.

More PC gaming would've been nice.  There was one guy who had a laptop with various Touhou games.

Asking the audience not to use flash, but letting people in the corralled off center front section still use flash is not very effective to get people to not use flash.

If you were wearing a Touhou costume, odds are, I have a pic of you, except for the people who wore Touhou costumes to the Masquerade.  Didn't get a chance to take a pic of you people. :(

And didn't get to call China China. :P

Hasn't really hit me yet.  I've just been pumped from listening to Momoi/nico songs all day.  It'll probably hit me tomorrow at work.

Though I ended up not going to the cafe itself, I have to say your performance was made of win for:

1) Old school anime (Ranma and Urusei Yatsura)
2) Touhou
3) Nico Nico Douga
4) Momoi + fans doing calls

I had a concierge level (26th floor) room in Marriott thanks to my friend's Platinum status and AAA card at around Fanime prices.  I'd say the stay itself was fine for me.  I didn't have to pay for the internet.  Being on the top floor meant that the elevator wouldn't be full when I entered (unlike the people on the <8 floors, some of whom should have been walking anyway).  The internet itself though, was slow as heck.  Monday morning was fine, but before that, it was incredibly slow.  They can't handle full capacity rooms filled with geeks.

I actually have the separate box thing in my room... I don't have a console so I can't test mine.  My friend (who booked the room for me) says I should have a concierge room though.

One of the conventions I went to a year or two back had people with their laptops in the game room to play PoFV, IaMP, and someone had the DDR song for Marisa Stole the Precious Thing.
