For me I'll probably be looking into buying like a halberd or something else cool. The swords I bought turned out to be cheap...so maybe something sharper.
Also discounted manga. Last time I didn't look around at everything in the last day and bought some discounted Tenchi....instead of the $3 manga. So anything that's a steal like that with anime/manga I am SO gunna buy.

As for my wishlist: As I said earlier, The Kino No Tabi Novels, and perhaps some manga. I'm not into that whole action-figure/wall-scroll thing. Nor do I watch much anime nor like it much. I merely enjoy burying my nose in a good series of readables. In previous years, I would have purchased some wooden arms such as a bokken, jo, bo, or shinai, but seeing as I have a bokken and a Shinai (the latter of which I purchased at my first Fanime Con) and I rarely ever use them, I would say it's overrated to purchase them. At least in my case.
I rarely buy things unless they're useful, which explains the non-collectible attitude I have about my purchases. Perhaps the most money I'll spend peripherally to the books would be food. All kinds of Yan-Yan's, Pocky, Ramune, any other non-nutritious, overly happily packaged, asian sugar-packed sweets.

San Francisco's Japan Town also has a Kinokuniya. In fact, it's better stocked than my local one. There's another location for you to take a look at there.

I get so lost in there I often find myself walking in circle for hours (I remember the first time I went to the con 2003 I had to ask for a map and a tour guide). If you guys want to know what will be available at con for 2006, keep track of Diamond Distribution's catalog. Diamond sends out its catalog every month and is usually available at your local Comic Book shop. While Diamond's Preview catalog does not have all the items you will want, it will definately give you a heads up on some of the cooler items available for the 2005-2006 con season.

Speaking of FFVII....there was this extremely rare Cait Sith plushie that i've found back at either Fanime 02 or 03.....it was PERFECT....it looked like Cait Sith itself...it had the giant moogle with a little cat on it, along with a megaphone, crown and cape on it! ^^
And it costed $150.....and it was the only one I saw...
And then after that Fanime passed, I never saw it again...but hopefully one of these days, I shall see it...and when the opportuinity comes, I shall buy it! ^_^

Potato plushies are sold here: http://www.tamarket.com.au/ but they are kind of expensive... but hey, I really really really... wanted Potato, so my friend bought it for me... now that I have it, I don't want to take it out of the wrapper/bag it came in... I hug Potato through the plastic bag it came in >.< My friend keeps making fun of me saying that Potato is suffocating in there. Then he always says "it's okay, Potato, you'll be out some day..." >.< Then it makes me want to open it, but I think twice and end up not opening it. So if you get Potato, don't be like me (indecisive in opening or not...).. either open it and have fun glomping Potato, or don't open it and display him somewhere...
This year I'm searching for more Key stuff, Final Fantasy music stuff, and just music in general.

nyaa maybe a few plushies, Canti figurine if the even have one, a new FLCL shirt and probably other shirts, and DVD vol.3, Wall scrolls, Sound tracks, probably other stuff...Damn you impulse buying...Also on the look out for some good doujinshi if they have some =3
Something that I really want- that has a slight chance of being there- is Eyeshield21 stuff. Really......anything at all (within price range. HA! who am I kidding.....) from that series and I would be so happy.
I'm new so I wouldn't really know what they sell. I heard somewhere that there are video games from Japan being sold. The ones that won't come out here for like a year. I figured since I have a Gamcube and a DS I figured I would take advantage of the shopping. I was hoping they would have Naruto for the DS, but I'm not even sure if they sell video games at this event. Please, would some one fill me in?

There was a lack of video game vendors last year, but from what I'm hearing chances are that there will be video game reps at the dealers room this year.
I can't give you much more detail than that because I don't know for sure.

Well, Red Octane is listed as one of the dealers, so there will at least be music games. :3 Myself, I'd like to get some import Nintendo DS games.

If I can find a copy of Naruto: Gekitou Ninja Taisen 4 for th Gamecube for cheaper than 60 bucks, then I'll be happy. YesAsia's got it for 61 bucks, but hey, I'm waiting for the cheaper price. :P To be honest, without a job, looking around the dealer's room is like sniffing the food in a restaurant without ordering anything. Nice, but I can't taste the goodness, and being a poor college student doesn't help either. Once I graduate though, things'll change. ;D
