Title: Ask a Question, Get a Good Answer!
Post by: DentyneIce408 on September 21, 2009, 12:43:16 PM
Since the "Ask a Stupid Question, Get a Stupid Answer," is being filled up with real questions and real answers, I decided to seperate the two. So, if you have a question and want a real answer post it here.

Example:

P1. Do you drive to work/school?

P2. Yes, I drive a Rodeo.
P2. Have been to this years Fanime?

Etc.

I'll start it off.

Answer to Michiko: (Since I had it typed already)

Sadly, I find it hard to make decisions on things I like. Mostly because I like a wide variety of everything.

Currently I choose baggy jeans (tight at the hip) and a dark colored t-shirt. If exceptable...I'd probably choose gangster suits or zuit suits with a fedora.

Answer to DarkShinigamiX3 :

Occasionally, but my stomach isn't a huge fan of coffee.

Is there a story behind your user name?
Title: Re: Ask a Question, Get a Good Answer!
Post by: Liquid on September 25, 2009, 10:50:11 AM
Not an interesting one. I like Metal Gear Solid. I originally wanted the name SolidSnake for the game Starcraft, when I first started playing back around 1999? It was taken and so were all the names close to it. Therefore I took on the persona of LiquidSnake. For short, people called me Liquid or even Snake, but I always liked Liquid better. So, yeah.

What is your funniest story from Fanime?
Title: Re: Ask a Question, Get a Good Answer!
Post by: Nightroad on September 25, 2009, 10:55:43 AM
A funny story from Fanime... oh! I was in thte arist's Alley at Fanime about 2 years ago and some guy jumped on a chair pointed and yelled "Yo Waldo get over here!!!" And sure enough I looked and there was someone dressed as Waldo. The man on the chair then pointed at me and some other cosplayers and we preceeded to "hide" Waldo in the group. HE snapped a picture then had us all take another one with all of us pointing at him... It was lots of fun! ^^ I never did find that picture anywhere, and I really want a copy! >.<

Title: Re: Ask a Question, Get a Good Answer!

Yes. Huge levels. Lots of hidden areas and items. Online multiplayer. Co-op story mode. Customizable cars. Transforming into different vehicle modes (for roads, water, flying, etc.). They should allow jumping. Lots of ramps. The ability to unlock bosses as playable characters. The option to change your surroundings (like knocking down buildings, blowing up bridges, etc.)

What game do you think deserves a sequel, but hasn't had one?

Pancakes are easy. Chili from the can is easy, lol. Dunno what else. I don't actually cook that often.

I rarely go to the park during day. But at night it's the best place to be in, fresh air, the silence, and the light from the moon. Great place to have our sessions and meetings.

Is there such thing as a double infinity?
Title: Re: Ask a Question, Get a Good Answer!
Post by: ELDEMONIO on December 06, 2009, 03:50:54 PM
From what I understand.Infinity is the equation of never ending. The only way for there to be 2 would require the space time continuem to break the law of numbers and the properties in witch they are restricted to be on.And then the 2 would be able to reach a equation in witch both can sum up without cancelling each other.  Or something like that.>.>

Are you good with numbers?

Title: Re: Ask a Question, Get a Good Answer!
Post by: Liquid on January 19, 2010, 11:50:28 AM
Hmmm, very hard one here. It really depends on the comedic category. There is not one all around best comic in the world, in my opinion. You need to sort them by category. You got your dirty comics, your obscene comics, the comics that make fun of themselves and their own lives, ventriloquists, impersonators, improv comics, funny song singers, prop users, etc etc.

Personally, I don't have a favorite. I have a huge list of comedians that I like. :-X

Title: Re: Ask a Question, Get a Good Answer!
Post by: Jerry on January 29, 2010, 10:07:54 AM
I dont make my costumes. But according to my friends. technically they count "labor hours"

simple costumes [with a pattern] usually only take maybe 16~20 hours of labor/work.

more complicated costumes [non using a typical patter ] will easily take up more towards 40+ hours of work/labor

of course factoring in life/ school / work / distractions / procrastination / shiny's etc / friends... that usually turns into a longer time frame.

Post by: Liquid on February 05, 2010, 04:59:10 PM
There are a specific amount of rooms reserved way in advanced, soley for staff. Typically it ends up being 4 to a room. The rooms are discounted since they are staff members and the 4 people usually split the bill. The room captain is someone chosen to run the room and thus fronts the main tab and is responsible for collecting monies from the other 3 staffers. The staff rooms are split between both hotels. So, I have no clue which hotel I will have this year, but last year it was the Marriott.

What is the event you look forward to the most this year at Fanime?

There was this one time that I was such a military fanatic. I'd say collect guns. Used to collect Airsoft guns but it was expensive and boring. So, whenever I decide to get my NRA license that's when I'll do it.

Same question.

Any upcoming movies you're excited for?

I'm waiting for both Alice in Wonderland (Johnny Depp is one of my favorite actors) and Clash of the Titans (I liked the original.)

If you were given a chance to remake a movie, what movie would you remake?

I'd probably re-make the movie "the Goonies" - except have have it flash back between the past pirates and the present day adventure/ death defying traps.

if you could hang out with any [live or dead] celebrity who would it be and what would you do? :)

I want a tattoo.

Whether you have/want them or not, if you were forced to get a tattoo, where and what?

a thin line of khanji (sp?) down the backs of each leg, like seamed fishnets.  but without the fishnets.  maybe a baby bat that looks like it's hanging upside down from my belly button.  orrrr a giant dragon crawling up out of my shirt and onto my neck.

and you?

I'd eat beans with George Wendt, so long as I don't have to stick around him afterwards.

Would you care to join George and I for some beans?

I'm going on a lunch date right now, but thanks for the offer!

Do you like cute little artsy bistros with breadsticks and french music, or old-fashioned diners with burgers and milkshakes and jukeboxes?

Post by: c2chaos on May 07, 2010, 01:44:45 PM
That's a tough call. I like them both but I'll have to go with the old fashioned diner. It's seems like a more familiar-face kind of place where you could eye on the group of girls across the diner as they google at you and whisper about how cute you are.

What's one thing that you'd like to avoid?

I'd probably be a dog, wolf, or horse. Can't decide.
What animal would you most not want to be?

Ooo tough one, I have a lot of favorites. Since I can't think of any of the really good ones off the top of my head, "The pure and simple truth is rarely pure and never simple." by Oscar Wilde seems good enough.

What is yours?
