Uhh, I bought a wig for my cosplay, and it occurred to me a little late that the shade was a bit...dark. I had the idea to dye it... But I'm kinda afraid that the dye would damage the wig, which would be very bad. If this is a stupid, stupid query, keep in mind that I've never dealt with hair dye before. But yeah, Fanime is getting very close, and it'd be nice to know if I can fix my mistake beforehand.

It'd be cool if there was some kind of space reserved for people to do random stuff and be seen by other people doing random stuff-- singing, dancing, impressions, monologues, etc. etc.

Of course, there'd have to be someone to moderate the event...

I, for one, would like to do get the Not Yet Ready For Anytime Players to do a tribute to Minoru Shiraishi.

I'm actually not sure where to post this, so if a kind mod would move this to the appropriate place, more the better.

This year, Fanime had a tournament for the trading card game Naruto. I was wondering, will there will be another one this next year?

So, does anybody want to hear a certain song performed at Fanime Karaoke (free or contest)? Personally, I'd love to see someone try their hand at 'God Knows' by Aya Hirano from Haruhi Suzumiya no Yuutsu or 'Battlecry' by Nujabes from Samurai Champloo...

I know this is really weird to ask in an anime convention, but does anybody here play Marvel/DC/Hellboy VS System? I'd love to play a a few games in the Tabletop gaming room...

Well, Fanime is nary but a few months away and a skit came to mind a little bit ago, and I must say, there are a few snags. It's a skit featuring Naked Snake, Solid Snake and Raiden. Now, I have a Naked Snake and a Solid Snake, but we're missing a Raiden. Of course, that may not be our biggest problem, as to there are some costume problems to deal with, which is, of course, the purpose of this little inquiry.

Right to the point: Can you, the great people of the Fanime cosplay board, help a humble newb of a cosplayer/performer? Of course, what I mostly need help on is Solid Snake's suit. I'm thinking Snake circa MGS2, but I've considered the MGS one since it's easier to make.  So, does anybody have advice on constructing a sneaking suit? Materials? Techniques? Perhaps somewhere to possibly buy the thing whole?

I got this idea from "Ai Yori Aoshi"... Basically, it would be a panel showing how a traditional Tea Ceremony is done. I'd think spots would have to be limited, though...since the audience participates. This one could get quite expensive.
