it'll help in attendee space thats for sure! lol and having the ball literally next door will help ALOT too (assuming it'll be large like the Parkside) so having everything next to you will cut back on losing friends who left across the street without you :P

you can. Nobody to stop you, since the theme is Gothic Fairytale I'm like 100 billion % sure tons people will be cosplaying as it so it's literally up to the people to host one. If that Clockwork con is gonna happen again expect to see LOTS of Steampunk/Gothica at fanime lollol maybe I'll be doing a Gothic too, assuming there will be hundreds of the (Black and White)Ciel and Sebastians as well. I want to do a gothic blend of a gentleman while having a reverse cross on my back to have that touch while a halloween vampire necklace :P

you know I seem to be seeing less and less of that "super friendly everybody gets along for anime" vibe AT anime cons cause everyones within their circle of friends and get very defensive if someone tries to meet them. Like if someone starts a convo with someone sitting at the tables they just say simple one liners and then excuse themselves and leave. Nobody is as open and confrontational as they were labeled in the past, which I miss sooo much now :C

Sadly, I don't think the construction will be done by then, though we can hope that it will be. Cause once it is, that just means more rooms for other stuff for the con itself.

what do you think their putting in that big lot? I saw someone post a blueprint picture of what it would look like and it looks like some extra office space and by the pic the front parking passenger dropoff/pickup lot will be pushed up to the street and become a bracket shaped small zone, like  [   that. I hope they DONT cause having some office space and smaller zone would mean the eventual end for fanime AT the convention center with fountains gone and corporation literally next to us will kill the anime fandom vibe

it's funny how Sac-anime is moving to it's own convention center after this summer show and I'm more hyped about the move than about fanime 2013 lol I guess once you've been around you lose that magic? Don't get me wrong I love spending a full weekend away and meeting new people but if that's the main reason/motivation for people then not much for fanime itself lol

hey guys this time for SURE I'll be there for the meet up as I already motivated/determined myself to do it without any side interruptions! My next year cosplay plan is to be a character from the a side scroller shoot-lots-of-things-for-major-points-combos anime game called Timeless for the 360. I will be wearing a tuxedo with a semi-large pink heart armband around my elbow and carry a homemade staff with a larger pink heart with 3 spikes, 2 on the sides and 1 on top  ;D

it was actually a total bummer this year for meeting you guys. I was being dragged left and right by my roomies cause she had to get this or see that, he had to find me to get change for AA and blah blah sorry guys :C I go to fanime every year so next year FOR SURE I'll be there! No roomies or girlys are gonna stop this guy ;D
