Registration this year was awesome. I think the self check in should make line con a thing of the past.

Artist Alley was definitely extremely crowded. It felt like half the attendees for the con was packed in there shoulder to shoulder.

The autographs this year took me by surprise. We arrived after around half an hour later, and one of the staff members told us that there was a 100 person limit. I was wondering what were the voice actors going to do for the remaining half hour? If there was going to be a limit I would have got up earlier and waited in line.

Maybe cause I'm a guy, but I walk around at night in cosplay and over the years I don't ever remember getting harassed in anyway. Some bums asked me for money, but that was about it.

So location wise is it still going to be in front of the con?

I'm still down for Saturday, so... time and place?

I plan to go as the male FGO master on Saturday.

I'm gonna be Rin from Blue Exorcist. Anyone else cosplaying as Blue Exorcist characters?

Hmm were you the people that dressed as Lolitas? I remember walking down the at night and seeing a bunch of Lolitas in a pastry shop.

I live near Oakland, but I'm in Davis finishing up college. Will most likely move back during the summer.

Yup this is the only year that I've been going where there were so many technical difficulties. I did not like the MC, but since he had no script I guess he was trying to make the best of a bad situation. Btw the time for the masquerade wasn't mentioned in the pocket schedule. Had to download the app to know what time it started. Explains why there were so many empty seats this year huh.

Bring a bottle to fill water, some fruit, and maybe some snacks. I use to bring bread and other things to build a sandwich, but to be honest when I go to Fanime I end up eating out a lot. Btw there's a Safeway near by and Subway eat fresh right?

The reality is sadly more often along the lines of this:
"Lemme take your picture!"
"Not right now."
"Oh come oooooon! It'll only take a sec!"
"I'm busy and I have to get going."
"But you're in costume right here! Don't be so bitchy about it!"
"Go away and stop pestering me, you creepy jerk!"

Wow were some people really like that? I've been going for 6 years I have never seen someone be that rude.
