What is the link to the FanimeCon group? I'd like to join.

If you are going to post their picture on the internet or use it anywhere, ask them if they are OK with it.

I think it's unreasonable to ask everyone if they are okay with this. They could walk away before you get the chance, or you could simply forget.

Why else would someone take your picture unless they wanted to show off their photography skills (well, or they like you)?

I just post whatever pics I take, I'm not going to lie. I've never met someone in cosplay though that didn't want to show off their costume, since they worked hard on it usually.

Hi. When I first started going to conventions in 2011, I never saw any of these big "Cosplay is Not Consent" signs. Now, they are everywhere. I wrote a blog post on this topic, and wondered if anyone wanted to give some feedback?

Basically, I think some of the unfortunate situations come from miscommunication on both sides, or misinterpretation anyway. In other cases, some people are just jerks.

I am not a professional photographer, so I'd like to know...why is the background blurred out in most professional photos/pictures?

How would I do this? Would I need Photoshop? All I have is Picasa 3 lol.

I was very impressed by the Epona cosplay. I'd be interested to hear how that costume worked and if there were any difficulties in moving around.

Thank you to everyone who has posted pics of my costumes wherever those pics may be!

I'm still looking for pics from all my costumes (obviously), but I haven't found a single one yet for my Ghost in the Shell or Ghost Trick cosplays (why so many ghost series? D:). I know it's only a week after the con, but quite a few people took pictures of me (especially as Major) and my request is getting buried under all these pages, so I thought I'd update it with pictures of me in costumes now that I've found some, instead of just reference pics.

Again, if anyone has pictures of these costumes, I would greatly appreciate them. Thank you!
