Hey there Jump Peeps!
I have been a part of the Shonen Jump gathering since 2004 and running it since 2005, yep 10 years! In that 10 years I had hoped to see every Jump title represented, and I have seen a whole lot represented... just not at one Jump gathering. *sigh* I think this dream is impossible to achieve since there are just so many great Jump titles and each of us love several but can't cosplay them all at one time.
So this is my last year to host the Shonen Jump gathering, NOT because I couldn't achieve that dream, but I want to do more cosplaying and cosplay related stuff. I run 1/2 a dozen gatherings on top of being the head of the Cosplay Gatherings Department and it just doesn't leave me with enough time to meet other cosplayers, to check out all the cool new cosplays and gatherings, or at times to even stop and take a breath.
Now is the year to come out and represent YOUR favorite "Jump" title! I want to see if we can beat the year we had 13 titles represented with 70+ cosplayers. I need your help! I need an assistant and I hope from the bottom of my heart that someone will pick up this gathering and continue to run it in the years to come. Jump cospeeps rock! The random fun moments I have had with all of the Jump cospeeps brings tears to my eyes and a smile to my face.

oo a shonen jump gathering sounds like a great idea. i'll be cosplaying that day as Kakashi for the Naruto gathering that day, so if i come to this gathering (which i think i might) i'll be going as Kakashi ^^

The problem with me is I have costumes from these SJ titles:

What a dilemma, but my girlfriend has a great Bulma costume, so I'm leaning towards DBZ.
My sister is cosplaying as Zabuza for the Naruto gathering with me (im going as Kakashi) so you can add her to the list under Naruto ^^

Hey guys. It looks like I might be able to make an appearance at the Jump Group after all. Unfortunately I don't expect to have a new costume for this convention <snap> I've just been so busy this year. I will either be going as Simon Gedoh or Monkey D. Luffy. Since I was Gedoh last year at the group I think I might go as Luffy this year. Hope you can all make it and that we get a good turn out.

The list of diffrent ones is on the first page. If you are cosplaying from any and would like to join in... the more the merrier.... this gathering should be huge.

I'd like to thank everyone for coming to the 2006 Shonen Jump Gathering. I hope you all had fun, were able to meet some nice people, and took some great pictures. I thought this years gathering was even better then the last and was very well organized. Let's make sure to do this again next year and keep jumping for success!!!

Because the gathering started late, Soujirou and I (Kaoru) had to leave early to practis our skit with our group for the Masquerade. Sorry :cry: . Were there any other Kenshin charecters ther besides 2 Kenshins a Sano and a Shinsengumi Saitou? if so could you send me the pictures. Sorry I couldn't stay for the whole shoot.
The SJ gatherings arre always big aren't they. And this year, even SB-san was participating as one of the cosplayers. Now I would really like to get a picture of her in her costume, from what I saw it was really well made.

I think I was late for the Shonen Jump gathering I fell asleep pretty late on saturday night or sunday morning so I got up late to miss it sorry :(
Hey there Fanime "Jump" peeps!
It's time to start sounding off as to who your coming to the Jump gathering as and what from. Last year was so awesome with around 60 peeps and 13 different series out there representing! *YEAH!
Can we do Better? I think we can and would love to see it! The gathering is at 1 PM and it will be the same location. I cleaned off the list so let's just fill it in and see if we can get at least 1 person to represent every single one! Wouldn't that be AWESOME!

Pretty interesting idea. I did notice some series missing, like Kinnikuman ( First Generation, not the already listed Nisei/Ultimate Muscle), Saint Seiya, I'm sure there are more but those are the two that popped in my mind so far.

You have Jojo's Bizarre Adventure and Steel Ball Run listed as seperate entries. SBR is actually JJBA Pt. 7.

In terms of which series I would want to see people do costumes from, a few of my personal choices would be:
Kochira Katsushika-ku Kameari KÅen-mae Hashutsujo--Never read the comic (can't read Japanese :cry:) But the stories and character designs look halarious!
HunterXHunter--Somebody's got to do one of these characters! Have any of you read the series? In my opinion this title total triumphs over the author's other famous creation, "Yu Yu Hakusho."
Kinnikuman--Well....if someone thinks they can do a reasonable likeness of some of the stranger characters, I'd be very impressed. Heck, if someone does any of the characters I'd be impressed. I've been to many conventions before, and I don't think I've ever seen a Kinnikuman cosplayer.

Unfortunately, it looks like I'm gonna have to wait awhile longer for the next volume of Hunter X Hunter. Gotta find something else to read in the mean time.

Anyone have a current Shonen Jump manga or anime title they're really into? I currently really enjoy watching new episodes of Naruto on Cartoon Network every Saturday night.

I am starting up the Shounen Jump list for 2008!!! I see Deathnote peeps and others working on their gatherings so I am wondering.... will 2008 be the year that we top out at 100 + peeps? Will we have over half the SJ titles represented? Only time will tell... One way to know is if you post here your character and title cause you want to see SJ become MASSIVE *LOL :P

i had fun at the gathering last year, so ill definitely be returning for 2008. I'll be representing Bleach, either as Ulquiorra or BANKAI!Renji ^^
If this doesn't conflict with the Bleach gathering, I will attend as Zangetsu.
Also, does anyone have Jump Ultimate Stars for DS? It would be fun to have a tournament before/after the shoot.
I'm definitely going to take part again this year, last year was a blast! And we need to get as many titles represented as possible. I'll probably wear the Sho Kazamatsuri outfit again but I'd certainly give thought to another SJ character...
I don't know if I said this for 2008 but I'll be there and I'll bring Kaoru like I always do. Hopefully there will be more Kenshin love in the house. :-* It was lonly with just me Saito and Soujirou. :'( But I'll be there for sure. ;D

It does depend on the time and date for this gathering. That's going to to have a lot to do with the decision.
Allthough I'd be happy to go as Kenshin for the Shonen Jump group, because it's a bit of a personal thing, seeing as I got to meet Nobuhiro Watsuki at SDC 06 in the costume.
But if I have to go with the Bleach group for this gathering, I'll be okay with that, too.

?? Are you talking about the SJ gathering? I believe it was on Sunday about 3:00pm in front by the fountains. Where were you waiting 30 minutes? There was a huge crowd, we took gazillions of pics, etc. It did start off a little slow, because we were waiting for groups, people to arrive. I started taking pictures of smaller groups like the One Piece group and then we formed a huge group to one side. My legs fell asleep from sitting on the ground for so long. :D

Bleach and Naruto switch days for their gatherings every year so what ever day Bleach was last year then it will most likely be on the other (Sat or Sun)
Last year the Jump gathering was at 3 pm on Sunday and the year before it was @ 1 pm. Both years this gathering has had 60 + cospeeps and represented up to 13 titles! I hope to top that massively this year and another side note.... Where are the Prince of Tennis cospeeps? For three years there hasn't been one? Wierd... O-o Any way this gathering will stay on Sunday and will be scheduled in the prime hours. I always schedule it around the Bleach Naruto thing so don't worry about conflict because I won't let that happen ^^)

In my current research I have uncovered that Weekly Shonen Magazine carried titiles such as Fairy Tail & Get Backers. This is not the same as the Weekly Shonen Jump Magazine, who later took over as the # 1 weekly magazine, which carries the titles I have listed. There are times that I miss a few, and I am looking to bring about a new gathering next year which will incorporate many titles such as Air Gear, Get Backers, & Cromartie High School to name a few. So next year look for the Beat, Jump, & Shonen Weekly gatherings. I like group gatherings that incorporate many different titles through the years because it allows many cosplayers the opportunity to be a part of a large similar gathering while being distinctive with their individual costume.

I know that Viz will be using the pictures in different areas. I believe that they were looking to put the group photo in the Japan weekly Shonen Jump and I know that they were happy with the large group that turned out.
Next year.... can someone bring a mega phone???? :P
If any of you went to the Shojo Beat gathering then you should also know that both Viz media & Shojo Beat Magazine will be using the photos.
If I find out where to find their photos I will post it on the threads for those of you who came to either Jump or Beat to find.

I don't know how I missed this topic for last year, so I missed out on all the fun (had my PMK!Okita outfit on at the time). However, my sister was in Tenipuri cos (Shishido), and I think she had quite a bit of fun with this, especially after missing the actual Tenipuri meet.
That said, I know we've got at least a few Shounen Jump cosplays planned for next year, so we'll both definitely try to show up this time around! Not remotely sure as what yet ... we've both got Bleach, and I'm planning a Tenipuri cos to go with hers as well ...

Nahhh Hiroshi Yagyuu from Prince of Tennis. Or possibly someone else from PoT... I really need/want to have alot more cosplay options next year. Still leaning towards doing Higuchi Yuuya though the most, Nogami Neuro cosplay is too uncommon as it is.

Haha XD;; If you saw a Yagyuu Hiroshi at PoT that was me (well I cosplayed him most of Friday and early part of Saturday). One of my friends actually organized a mini Rikkai gathering on that Friday and we did a photoshoot, it turned out to be very fun.

The other Shonen Jump cosplay I'd love to premier here possibly would be Ralgo Lloyd from Tegami Bachi! I don't know his official hair color yet though (hasn't been released yet).

The Yagyuu Kyuubei arc is tied with the 'memory loss' mini-arc. . . they both made me cry, particularly where Gin left the Yorozuya and the part where Kyuubei and Otae are talking at the end of the arc after Kyuu-chan got beat. . . ;_; 'twas so saaaaaad

I MIGHT cosplay Gintama, if I can get my Kyuubei cosplay ready in time D: Having a hard time figuring out his hair color. . . I mean, it LOOKS black, but the shadows in the anime make it look kinda bluish-greenish. . . ? o_O I dunno lol xD At one point, I was under the impression that he had blue-green hair o_O And when I actually went back and watched the arc again, I was like "WTF was I thinking?? That's not blue-green!!" xD;
I did go in the Artists' Alley a good amount of times during the convention, although I only cosplayed seriously on Sunday. ^^; I was the really short Allen Walker from D.Gray-man, in the Edo arc uniform. The other days were just closet cosplays, though I DID get asked a few times if I was cosplaying from Bamboo Blade o.o
Oh XD;; Staffing seems to be very time consuming, nothing I'd ever want to do really. I like to have my freedom at cons, wether it be to hang out with my friends/help them sell in the AA or attend cosplay gatherings or whatever.
I'd just go with black since going by the manga it's probably black and you know how anime tends to color everyone's hair (just look at Shinpachi for an example of that). It would be very nice to see more Gintama cosplay though! Oh did you see my friends Katsura and Elizabeth cosplay then (if you stopped by the AA)? I don't know if they did it Sunday though....
Awww well I probably did see you then. If I recall your cosplay was very well done and very cute Cx I'd have probably asked to take a picture expect I didn't have a camera... but I hope by next year I will. I'm pretty picky about cosplay but I always seem some that catch my eye.

One of my friends has cosplayed Kagura before but I haven't seen her do it since last AX. Addiontally I know both an awesome Hijikate and an awesome Gintoki cosplayer (seperate people). Part of what got me into cosplay was seeing all my friends cosplay so well actually. It also helps that I can exploite my near sighteness for a whole lot of cosplays as well (and alot of characters I genuinely really like).

Nah I'm in the same situtation really. Really I am waiting for what my friend who's currently in the Phillipines visiting family wants to cosplay (so far she wants to do Soul Eater and RO) but she's not on MSN due to being on vacation and we never hashed out our final two group cosplays.

I will most likely be coming as Allen Walker or Yagyuu Kyuubei. Allen Walker, still need to figure out which outfit I'd wear (Edo Arc uniform, version 3 uniform, Chapter 159 version, etc.) It depends what I can afford TT____TT Kyuu-chan would be easy to bring, though ^^;;
Chances are, I won't be doing anything around the time of the JUMP gathering, so you can probably expect me there xP

yamaneko: With the cosplay masq being held on Saturday now I don't think I will have two on Saturday because many of the cospeeps in the cosplay masq wear their costumes for gatherings on that day and prejudging.

I was puzzled as to why for three years there was no PoT and I went to the PoT gathering to personally invite them to come last year! I was ging to attend this year seeing as my Bleach cosplay was in the in manga, but it was too soon after the PW shoot and I missed it. That made me a very sad Panda.

Assuming scheduling works out, I'll be there (and in appropriate cosplay this year!) -- most likely as Unohana from Bleach, possibly as pre-exorcist Miranda from D.Gray-man. I expect my sister La will be there as well, either doing Bleach (Hanatarou or random Fourth squad mook if she decides wigs are evil) or Tenipuri (Shishido, which she did for last year).
Also hoping scheduling works out for Sunday at 3, I will be there this year as Ukitake from Bleach. (And hoping the Bleach gathering is on Sunday, too.)
Another thought is IF the Masq is back on Sunday for 09, then it would be nice if we could be sure the SJ gathering starts right on time? Or any of us that are competing might not be able to stay to participate....
I'm sure we'll know more once all the info gets posted. Just hope we don't have to wait until April to know what the impact of the Masq will be.

If you restrict it to the Jump group, how about some sort of scavenger hunt? Maybe of items that the Jump cosplayers would have (plenty of swords, I'll bet, may get specific with a color blade or handle, or other type of weapon) or of character types (long haired-red haired bishie; short-pink-haired-cat-eared high school girl; etc.). Not to make it too manic, maybe have everyone PM you one or two suggestions for the 'hunt' and then see how many of the suggestions we can find in our gathering. This would be more like a shopping list, then a scavenger hunt, I guess. But the items on the list should be Jump-related, rather than random.
Maybe split up the gathering into teams (try to separate out the titles, probably count off 1 2 3 4, so not everyone from the same series is in one team), and see which team gets the most items on the same shopping list. And also which team gets the rarer or more hard to find item(s).
Man, there are soo many gatherings I have no idea whats going on anymore.
Perhaps Ill just wander around in a brain-dead daze. If anyone sees me just grab me and drag me into the group.

If you restrict it to the Jump group, how about some sort of scavenger hunt? Maybe of items that the Jump cosplayers would have (plenty of swords, I'll bet, may get specific with a color blade or handle, or other type of weapon) or of character types (long haired-red haired bishie; short-pink-haired-cat-eared high school girl; etc.). Not to make it too manic, maybe have everyone PM you one or two suggestions for the 'hunt' and then see how many of the suggestions we can find in our gathering. This would be more like a shopping list, then a scavenger hunt, I guess. But the items on the list should be Jump-related, rather than random.
Maybe split up the gathering into teams (try to separate out the titles, probably count off 1 2 3 4, so not everyone from the same series is in one team), and see which team gets the most items on the same shopping list. And also which team gets the rarer or more hard to find item(s).
I like this idea! Maybe have it on Sunday starting in the morning and then at the gathering announce the winning teams?... any thoughts Jumpers???

scavenger hunt? well my killua cosplay will be awful lot comfortable for running but scavenger hunts usually take a while right? but it would be fun to have like a talent show or something but that's just like masquerade lol

+Killer Killer (here's how it goes: there are 3 roles... a police a murderer/killer and the citizens... you determine the roles from a lottery and then once you have your role you keep quiet about it... if you're the murderer/killer you wink at someone or lucky a citizen and that's a sign which means the citizen has died and will yell "I'm dead" not saying who killed them. The police will have to get the murderer/killer ASAP before he kills everybody. If the murderer/killer winks at the police the police won't say "I'm dead" but rather, will say "I gotcha".) this'll be fun because there'll be a lot of people :D

The boat is sinking is a game like when a coordinator like say: "group yourselves in two" then a person finds another person and hugs them until the coordinator tells them to stop... or it could be something more complicated like "group yourselves with someone wearing pink" it'll be hecka fun and a fun way of meeting people!!!
This is certainly getting interesting.
I think this was going to interfere with another photoshoot, but this one wins hands down.
...Maybe I iwll bring along Chibi Gin and Chibi Hisagi thus there will be shinanghins.

I am putting together a couple of ideas for a cosplayer event for the Jump gathering.... still taking ideas ^^) got any???
As for the Jump Hunt.... thought of making this a sheet that Jump fans (and cosplayers/attendees ^^) can pick up on Sunday at the gatherings table Sunday Morning. Then they go down the list of letters and find something "Shonen Jump" related to represent each letter (no duplicating an item for the same letter) and then they bring back their finds to the table. If they complete it then they are entered into a raffle that will be held at the Jump gathering. This would mean that the scavenger hunt would be over 10 minutes prior to the Jump Gathering.
What do you think? or should I run it all day Sunday till 6:30 and have the raffle at the Gatherings Table?

I wanted to thank everyone for attending the gathering! I was very impressed by all the different costumes and hope everyone had a fun time!
I also wanted to give extra thanks and praise to BSaphire for her creativity and organizational skills. This gathering has come a long, long, long way since I first started it and I'm sure that with her help it will only continue to get better and better!!

The gathering was HUGE. I think I overheard you say we had over 60 titles there, B. Is that so? Sorry I left before the game (Red light/Green light?).
(Oh, and I chatted with your friend but I was pretty unhelpful so we talked to the Hiruma and Sena cosplayers with the awesome hair and they were very helpful. I hope your friend does not have too much trouble with the Kenpachi headpiece.)
Even though we weren't planning on it, Waffle-chan and I, after some convincing done on BumbleB's part, went over to the Shonen Jump Gathering. It was completely awesome~! And go taffy! Thank you so much, Captain Mom, for letting ride on Minazuki for the group shot. If anyone has any pictures of that, by the way, could you PM them to me? I would love to see. All those little Shinigami {plus one Arrancar!} in the front with the older Shinigami in the back is definitely worth seeing. Plus, that was the only picture I got with that awesome Renji and BumbleB.
Anyhow, if I can get Waffle-chan to agree to come with me next year, you can count me down as Turn Back The Pendulum Nanao! ;3

Im sorry I missed it. I also missed the D Gray man AND the end of Bleach.
My friends stupid roomate came over Wed night. He was sick and he KNEW it. He also knew were leaving in the morning. Low and behold my and I got pretty sick.
I left Bleach to sign in for the D Gray shoot, changed into Kanda and passed out in my hotel room.
He ( sick man) will pay DEARLY for misisng my once -a year opertunity.
i feel like such a jerk for showing up for such a promising gathering this year, i mean i not only got caught up in the bleach gathering but by the time i was thru watching the diamond dust rebellion i realized i missed the gathering, i feel really bad B so i plan to make it up to you next year so i can redeem myself, sign me again for bankai toushiro hitsugaya

No hard feelings on my part for those that missed the HUGE turn out. From the approximate count it looks like 78 cosplayers for 09... *almost there to that 100 mark :P *
Star Geno and I are looking at fun things we can do for the Jump peeps. I am looking at a Jump word search or possibly a Jump crossword puzzle to be available at the cosplayer gatherings department all weekend next year.... who knows .... maybe I'll make a contest out of completing it :P
I really hope to have a new cosplay for the Jump gathering next year. I am currently working on my Fantasy RPG cosplay x2 and then I have 2 more to finish. If I get through those I might finish my original plan for a Bleach cosplay with a twist. :P
For now keep posting and plan on attending the gathering in 2010. I will update the list on the first post sometime in late November ... (letting the con season finish first so peeps have a better idea of what they will want to cosplay or are working on for 2010)
BTW.... This gathering is open to ALL Jump titles (weekly, monthly, ultimate, etc) and their characters even if they don't appear on the list. Just be sure to list title and character for me pleeessee ^^)

Needless to say Puu comes every year, but in 2005 we had Hiei, King Yama, Puu, Juri, Shishi, Youko, Jr, Kuwabara, Koto, Kuronue, and Toya (can't remember his darn name??? could be wrong) and we did a parody to American Idol that we called "Bishounen Idol" for "Der Cosplay." We had so much fun! The gathering was pretty awesome too! I haven't seen a huge cast of YYH represented since :( So I REALLY hope your feeling works out! :)

@ Everyone: So BrightHeart76 and I are working on the Jump event. Which do you prefer:
Shonen Jump Cosplay Chess or Shonen Jump Cosplay Checkers? I'm leaning towards checkers myself for three reasons:
1: you would have to "jump" so to speak over the other checkers *LOL :P
2: The Bleach cospeeps already have Chess so they could join in on some Checkers fun :)
3: Easier to run and faster game so we could possibly play more than one game (thinking Bleach v Naruto checkers :P )
@ BunofGov:Some Cospeeps know it as "Silver Soul" but for the most part it is known as Gintama :)
@ Kaori: Yeah for PoT! For being a popular series it doesn't always get represented at the Jump gathering so I am glad that you are planning on being there!
I think I'd prefer the checkers since it sounds like faster play.

Based on numbers and level of skill (I have NO chess skill) I think we on the Naruto side have decided to vote Checkers too. :)
Also, just to make sure everyone is aware. We at the Naruto Gathering have a picnic annually. This year it is open to everyone, yourselves definately included. We'll be meeting in the park across from the Marriot at 1:00 on Sunday to enjoy some food, games and company. No cosplay needed. All games are free and I'll have some prizes. I understand that. I have noticed that unless a cosplayer is unique or brightly colored they run the risk of not being noticed as easily. Accuracy does help. :)
I know someone who is coming to Fanime as Kenshiro from Fist of the NorthStar so I am definitely going to try and convince him to come to this gathering :D

So I have updated the list and we are at 43 possible cosplayers representing...... are you ready..... wait for it.......

Do you mean like in alphabetical order? Or maybe based on the list of cospeeps from the first page in this thread (and maybe additionally a visual scan of the group) try to get the smaller groups' pics first and then the larger groups? Maybe have us all in place for a large group shot, then pull the groups out one by one for pics, but try to keep everyone else in place in the background? Like when you and Star Geno get in front of us.
If possible put me under the Naruto group as an Anbu Black Ops. I know it wont be all that as a main char but id like to be in photos.

As much as I'm looking forward to the gathering, I'm a little surprised that it looks as though I'll be the only one cosplaying as a character from One Piece. On the plus side, it looks like we'll have plenty of Naruto cosplayers.

First thing I want to point out is that this is the same board that Cosplay Chess uses. They are being super sweet and letting us borrow theirs! I did not have time this year to make one. If this is really successful then next year we will see about making one.
I posted this in the Cosplay Checkers Game so I wanted to repost it here:
So a question was posed about being able to play as one character and then possibly play as another. For the most part this is possible if you put a game in between you. (*NOTE* Better be a quick change though cause the games shouldn't take longer than 45 minutes (Naruto cospeeps have their gathering at noon so I wanted to make sure we were done with the Bleach V Naruto game #2 which should start around 10:15 and end around 11 am.) Though we are planning on 45 minutes of fun for each game it could be shorter or longer, just depends on how epic each game gets :P
Now if you are doing game #2... well then you would probably have to stay as that character for game #3. However, if we continue and open it up to other cosplayer then you could change after game #2 and come back for game #4 (open to all cosplayers.)
The first three games are specifically for Shonen Jump cospeeps to compete/play in and in game #3 there is an opening for 13 random cospeeps so that is where any cosplayer can start participating.
So if you are not in game #2 then join game #1 and quick change for game #3. Hope this helps!

Ok Jump Peeps! There are less than 30 days till con and I need more cosplayers for the Checkers games. I was wondering if there was a group of 13 from any title that would like to go up against Team Naruto since there currently isn't a Team Bleach? I'm also willing to take a 7/6 split of two titles if you think you can take out Team Naruto :P

I have never been so impressed with the Jump gathering as I was this year! It was all the Jump love that brought me to tears on Sunday. You guys were just AWESOME! Thank you all for making Sunday a JUMPtastic Day for me! When I get done with my photos I will post the link here and on the photography thread. Felt like we had more series represented this year, I saw a few titles that I had not seen before! And it's always nice to see under-teens cosplayers (adorable!).

As the one who suggested this idea, I feel like a goofball that my group ended up not doing it since our gathering time was scheduled for 3:30 and we went off to do it right after the first group photos. :-[
Can I suggest for next year that when you are assigning times for the gatherings that you somehow warn any Jump titles that they may wish to delay their gatherings until at least one hour after the scheduled Jump gathering? (e.g. Jump gathering scheduled for 3:00pm, therefore should not have another Jump title gathering until 4pm).
That way, all the Jump titles could stay together for the gathering, then go on their separate ways. Just a thought.

CHIBIs were so kawaii :) I have a link to the SJG photos I took on the first post and they are the album photo.
Deathnote I placed 1/2 hr before due to all my responsibilities and I still had to step away for a meeting and let my staff handle it. I thought they would be there though :(
As for Gintama... I asked if the group wanted to jump *giggles* in and do a quick group shot but a couple said no so it didn't happen. When they set up the gathering they were aware that Jump was @ 3 and wanted to slip away @ 3:30 for theirs... it was the organizers call. I would have liked to see them @ 4 pm too so I could have gotten a few shots, but alas I had the Sailor Moon gathering @ 4 pm so I had to run.
Live and learn... maybe next year everyone will work to get in the Jump gathering and make it Epic in #'s attending & Epic in # of titles represented! Then I will break down and bawl!... bring tissues please cause you guys already got me crying you were all so AWESOME!

Not wearing a wig is always good :P but mostly I look at age, body size and height, and face shape. There are only so many characters that are above 5'7" and that is one of the reasons why got into cross play :) I will need to check into a couple of those characters. Thanks BunofGovt.

Updated! BTW... Shonen Jump Cosplay Checkers has been canceled for 2011. If the Jump cosplayers want to do one game, Maikiritori and I will work on making that happen. It would require you to post here that you would like it and what day/time/location to have it at. Otherwise... we will bring it back in 2012.

Even if they don't post on the forums, many cosplayers show up to JUMP. One year I had no Prince of Tennis and then three showed up! Always glad to see POT :) so just come and see who shows up. I'll add you to the list later when I get my home system up, but for now if you build your Shaman group have them pop over here and post so I can add them too.

So Naruto, Bleach, D.Grayman, Katekyo Hitman Reborn, Prince of Tennis, DeathNote, Dragon Ball, and all those others... I'm looking to see what titles will be represented this year??? The highest # of titles represented in any one year was 13 and the largest number of cosplayers was 89... will this be the year to break either of those #'s.....? Time will tell... post it if your coming and tell me who as and what from :)

Since you said you were coming to the "Old School" gathering I will point it out for you. There's a mess of construction out in front so we found a replacement area for all the big gatherings to use :) *still dancing around the room :)

Sort of leaning that way only because last time wearing the wig braided in front of my neck was one of the weirdest itchiest feelings ever. :P
