In regards to musical guests, I think they should stick to Japanese bands who sing inJapanese and American bands who sing in English. Rothchild scared a bunch of people away during their act. D:

if I go on saturday around 9am, how bad would the reg line be? About how long would I be waiting?

do you think the line would be okay-ish at around 9am? If I get there around 9, do guys know about long my waiting time would be?

what if i got there at 9am on saturday? how bad would the line be then?

I'm planning on coming around 2pm on Saturday. Would the line have died down a bit by then ?

My friend didn't pre reg in time so he'll have to register at the con. I'm aware that when people register at the con, it's like a never ending line. x_x

What would be a good time to come to avoid a ridiculously huge line (if that is possible)?

You know how we always list a bunch of people whom we like to have as guests? Just wondering, do the fanime staff  in charge of bringing guests  read our suggestions? heh

the musicfest is usually so awesome. :O In fact, it's the only reason why I attend Fanime. It just makes me disappointed that attendance for musicfest is usually so low. ._.

i liked swinging popsicle, mothercoat and uphold. goofy style made me feel like i was a temple and i should've been praying to the sound of the monk accompanied by the band.

ah yes! monk..temple..those were the words I was looking for. D: i dunno..after a while, the first 3-4 bands all sounded like monks in temples.

For me, I was really disappointed with the Musicfest this year. :cry:   In fact, I left before the show was even over. (I left after the fourth act) Maybe it's just my taste in music..but I was expecting to hear something like ZZ or maybe camino or nami tamaki. I guess I didn't really like the music because most of them made this sound..i don't know how to describe it..but they sang in a way where it sounds like they're wailing. kinda like.. UWAHHHHHHHHHHHHH. and i guess i don't like the kinda music where there's wailing like that. and I'm not terribly fond of crazy, head-banging, migrain-inducing songs either. D:

maybe i'm just picky. i dunno. i wasn't disappointed the past two years at fanime, but i was this year.

Anyway, what did you guys think?

Yeha I went to the Jrock con. and it was the best, I hope to see Karma and Chaos System again. ^-^ But I bet at fanime I wouldn't be as close to the stage T-T;

Actually, for some reason, the concert attendance at Fanime has not been very high so it's likely that you can get near the stage. :3

How do the directors of guest relations go about inviting the guests/performers?

I swear, the first Fanime Musicfest was the best ._.; Even if we had to wait so long, it was worth it.
