I might try Registration. It only goes on during the day, and I generally am very bored and not interested in anything during the day. As long as MusicFest is at night, I'm good with it. D:
:3 Yay!

I would personally say to avoid Mooncostumes.com. Their materials aren't very accurate sometimes and they're not great quality wise, though I'm not sure about their bleach costumes. ( I have a thing against Mooncostumes. I don't know why. ) But check out the below (Because ebay is my friend, and can be yours too!):

Come-On cosplay makes it with all the things moonCostumes does, as well as make it custom sized with no added charge. :3 And it's about the same price as mooncostumes including shipping and handling.
Pop First is cheaper, but it doesn't come with accessories. :3 And it can also be made custom without any extra charge. (Although you might want to ask if they can make the number 4, not 10 on the coat.)

Have fun cosplaying. :3 And if you strut it with confidence, then you'll look better than the others. ^^

I can send a release to you ahead of time that you can have your parent/guardian sign, which you can then give me at the con.
Tha'd be awesome. :3

I'm to tired to look right now, or just to lazy, but can you still volunteer after you Reg?
Yep. You can sigh up to volunteer during the Con. :3 Just go to the volunteer booth. ^^

:o
I'd love to, but I won't have a guardian with me at all during the con... >.>

Oh well. :3 I'll wait to see what you take this year, though. Your photos are awesome. ^^

When in doubt, ask the peace-bonding people! Or... you know, e-mail works too... xD
Though I forget who peace-bonds it... Rovers?

lol gaia got their own San Francisco holiday. I'm beginning to think the higher ups in Gaia will soon be distancing themselves from the unwashed masses. Hell, they'll have so many deals with movie companies and clothing retailers that they'll be rolling in dough even more than before.

*sigh* Gaia, you are so different from what you used to be.

I WAS SO "WTF" with the holiday. o.0
They're still losing money, though. I wouldn't be surprised if they sold out the company to get more money. =.=
Stupid annoying sponsorships and cash store... D:< </rant>
But I <3 the mods. ;D And the original staff only. >.>;;

Meetings, Gatherings, and Get Togethers / Re: WonderCon
February 20, 2008, 04:21:04 PM
I *might* go either this Sunday or Saturday. I'm rooting on Saturday, though, because there's a Capcom panel/thing with Long Vo in it. I WANT HIS FREAKING AUTOGRAPH. D:< I'm still peeved that he wasn't at Fanime last year. D:< And there's a Gaia thing, but I don't really care about that as much as Vo. D:<

And I want to take pictures. Sunday, my sister can take me then, I think, but I also have to do this thing with friends and tour Frisco... which I'm thinking I wanna back out of... (yes, I like to ramble to myself on the internet)

I think the most awesome thing that could happen to me at Fanime is that the Gaia staff invite me out for lunch... or at least, some moderators. :0 That'd be SO kickass.

No, but I'd just be happy going to events and having fun. ^^ And have food. And sleep. =.=;;

;D Fanime staff, FTW! I get to hang around Fanime people at least once a month! ^^ funfun.

The only live action I really know besides Nodame...

PRETTY GUARDIAN SAILOR MOON! xDD Episode Zero or one, preferably. :0

I brought $200 and spent about $125... that was excluding food ( I only ate like, three times. =.=;; NOT A GOOD IDEA, by the way) and excluding room (though I only spent $75 together on 3 nights. But mommy paid for that :3) I didn't buy much at all, but the things I did buy was expensive.... though I forget what...
I don't remember much of Fanime, it was too fun and I was too sleep deprived/food deprived. =.=;
I'm bringing $300 this time. Maybe I'll actually buy things I'll use/keep. And eat. GOSH did I need food. Maybe I'll bring some...

AUGGHH. I MISSED AOD?! OH NOES. D:

Saratoga, California! About 20 minutes drive. :3
Of course, RIGHT after school. I'll probably be wearing half of my cosplay at school, too. Then off to my room and Registration staff ASAP! <3

Pre-reg in October right when it opened.

Staff badges have numbers?!
*checks*
OH! Last year's numbers of mine:
706 Staff (Coolio. :3 )
1423 Member (I bought a member's badge before I knew I would become a staffer)
160 Volunteer (Someone gave those out on the last day... I think it was the Volunteer head since they had extra. :3 )

Registration / Re: Badge Pick up
February 19, 2008, 12:40:54 PM
:0 Tsk tsk, Moonie!

But in any case, Chewie: Photo Bank ATM cards aren't government issued. ^^; And if someone like a child was to bring a passport, their guardian should be in possession of it after receiving the badge... or if the child is under 10, there would be no need to bring ID because they would get a free badge anyways. o.0 Still, Fanime is a ways away and it'd just be easier to get a state issued ID to avoid hassle. ^^;

Your second poster got it about right. Everything gets wrapped up at around 1 PM, and it slowly dwindles down at around 5-ish PM.

xD Darn you, Sen, you beat me to it!

No, you don't have to be in a staff-room. It's just a perk that comes with being a staff member. ^^

If you want, you can get your own room at a regular Fanime member's price and room with your friend. Some staff don't stay at the con, some get deluxe rooms for themselves, by themselves (at the regular price), to simply enjoy the room. :3

Photocopies aren't allowed. Since there are a few months left before the con, that's plenty of time to apply and receive a state-issued I.d.

If you stayed about an hour after, you would've heard the nickname my friends and I gave to Eric (fan services head).

^^ Maybe next time if my friends and I can stay long enough, we'll set up/play DS games.
