Sorry to double-post, but this made no sense tacked on the end of my last post.

I like the dubbing. I also like how open the voice actors are with their fans.

EDIT: I'm planning on photoshooting my Ed near the Martinez train station. That area is GENIUS for FMA photoshoots...it has old train tracks, 1900's style buildings, and there's some semi-abandoned factory yards you can get photos near...

another question: wrath's hair is jet black, yes? sometimes it looks kinda brownish, and sometime's its got that greenish tint similar to envy's...@.@

I went for jet black myself, because although it sometimes does have tints, my Wrath wig is so massive that I wouldn't have wanted to custom-color it to extra-dark green or anything. (Plus, spoiler: Considering who Wrath's parents are, it's gotta be black.) Give me an AIM if you want tips on making a Wrath wig to truly accurate size...it takes some wig surgery, but the result is impressive. (My AIM is kaitouxelko and yes, anybody who wants to talk FMA wigs should also IM me.)

Use spray-on pantyhose a shade too dark. Really. I tried about seven types of makeup for Wrath, and that was all that worked AND didn't rub off.

Wrath's ouroboros is on HIS right foot. Meaning the cosplayer's right foot. It is VERY CRUCIAL if you are going to cosplay Wrath to NOT screw up what goes where.

Cosplayer's right leg - normal, with sock-thing and Ouroboros on foot

I'll be wearing the spoileriffic ballgown to the meeting, and my friend, well, let's see if he can finish Number 48. I bet he can. (The Fake Armstrong's Sister costume, well, he only has agreed to do that after I complete a Johnny Depp Willy Wonka outfit, so that'll take a while.)

But look for me wandering around as Ed and Wrath at other times!

EDIT: Haha, all of you people cosplaying other characters, I get my own spiffy background music! *sings* "Uwo-u-wo-u-wo..." OST2 track 25, but don't look up the tracklisting unless you've seen to the point where you know who's behind the Homunculus, otherwise you'll spoil yourself for something rather major.

FMA uniforms aren't exactly a good project to start with if you're not a rather experienced sewer...eh heh they make me want to tear my hair out. But if you still want to make one, Eleryth from Cosplay.com made this amazingly good site to help out. http://www.storms-end.com/cosplay/hagaren_uniforms/ You're in luck wanting to do Hawkeye; a few of the more minor soldiers (like Farman and Fury) don't have ref pics there, leaving us to gather pics on our own.

What are some crazy things you've done that relate to anime?

Probably the craziest thing I've done is teach myself how to move certain muscles around my eyes and mouth independently so that I can do the side-smile smirk and the half-circle-eye smile. And if you count cosplay injuries, well, let's just say I have one stronger arm (from wearing automail), a scar on my stomach from gluing myself into costume, feet that can stand being barefoot in November, and a new tolerance for both too much and too little clothing.

I also sold a bunch of old toys at a yard sale to fund my anime, er, fund.

But I bet you lot have done MUCH crazier things, since I'm boring.

YAY! Chase down with cameras! (Which means I'll probably be Wrath for teh photoshoot, just so I can eat Jolly Ranchers and fight Eds.)

Cosplaying as Wrath is FUN! *is a Wrath cosplayer, and an Ed cosplayer* Make sure you know all about Wrath, though, so you can know WHY it's a good idea as Wrath to chase every Ed cosplayer around yelling that you'll take what's rightfully yours, or that you'll kill the Ed in question, or sometimes both! (That's the best part.)

I have a problem. By Fanime, I'll have three FMA outfits: Ed, Wrath, and that beautiful pink and purple ballgown from episode 48 onward where I can't say who wears it without spoiling something major (which will be for my senior ball the week before).

...so which one do I wear? :shock:

So far, I have no preference, so I'll meet whenever. I will, however, have to decide whether to show up as Ed or Wrath. ><

My automail mechanic might, since he looks totally Armstrong in build, but he can't sew, and I have WAY too many costumes for ANYBODY to commission an FMA uniform off me. (I only do a few commissions, and only for some of my really good friends...)

This is, of course, assuming I don't pull another one of my revamp tricks and decide that "OMFG I AM NOT A GOOD ENOUGH ED OH NO *emo tears*" and spend insane amounts of time and money trying to completely remake it before Fanime, only to run out of time the night before at three in the morning, making me tired and grumpy and costumeless.

That is super-spiffy!!!!!!

...on a random note, a while back I used one of my Official Temporary Tattoos (gasp! those are expensive!) on my body (the black flamel); it lasted for A WEEK, and at the end of the week I just got so annoyed with where I had put it that I took it off with baby oil.

So for all those who want a semi-permanent way to keep the Ouroboros if you're doing any sin except Wrath and Pride, or to keep the flamel if you're doing Izumi, the Japanese temporary tattoos are a nice option. (Don't try the temp tattoo if you're doing Anime!Wrath. Just...don't. I tried with a cheaper temp tattoo and it came off in like 20 minutes. And if ANYONE is dumb enough to use a temporary tattoo for Anime!Pride, well, they deserve their nice expensive trip to the emergency room.)

FMA? That might take a while...
My favorite right now Blue Seed on the Action Channel, that is if they are still showin' it otherwise my fav is also Read Or Die T.V on G4.

FMA airs in November. *cry*

If Cowboy Bebop's still on, that's my favorite on TV, mostly because of the music. (Yoko Kanno is a goddess!)

Once Fullmetal Alchemist airs, though, that will be my favorite. (FMA = GOOD)
