Attorney John "Jack" Bruce Thompson has been officially disbarred by the Florida Supreme Court, and is no longer allowed to practice law.
oh happy day.
hahahahahaha he can go off himself at any moment. seems like he sees himself above the law IMO.
The way he talks, he'll be in for a surprise if he reaches heaven's gate :D

Unfortunately, I don't think this is the last we'll see of him. This only disbars him in Florida. It doesn't ban him from appearing on talk shows and other media to shoot his mouth off, and I don't think this'll be enough to discredit him in the eyes of those who think like him. It'll probably set him up as a martyr of sorts instead.

Oh great Raptor Jesus we thank thee.
oh hells yes we do.
now the question is, what will he do for a living now? move to another state and become a lawyer there(out of desperation), or go into some other industry where he would actually be good?
EDIT: looks like he not seeking to fight the disbarment in Florida, but instead seeking the federal courts to hear his case.
He has absolutely no chance in hell of winning, even if he claims to have a reasonably good case.
Knowing him, he'll most likely put more time into even more media appearances in order to spread his bullshit, and he'll find audiences that'll just eat it up in spite of his being disbarred (which they'd probably view as a badge of honor).

There's no need; if he's on Fox News, he poses no threat.
Now CNN, on the other hand.....

The problem is, a sizable portion of the population (such as in the red states) takes Fox News as gospel and are exactly the kind of audience that Jack Thompson panders to.

this is true, sadly. still, he is no longer a lawyer. accompany that with the reason he's disbarred, and that destroys whatever credibility he had left. If he even had any to begin with.

That's the thing...to his audience, it doesn't remove any credibility. It just makes him a martyr in their eyes, with the disbarment being a badge of honor instead of a source of shame. Trust me on this. I grew up in these kind of circles. This kind of thing feeds their persecution complex.
