Not sure if I'll be able to attend the gathering at the convention center, but I'm staying in the Fairmont so I will try my hardest to visit everyone at the tea party...
I'll be reviving my "Kissing Skull" Ciel cosplay from 2011~

depending on my schedule, I may be able to attend as probably the oldest character ever...Gegege no Kitaro~ the original version of the anime was released in 1968!

I should be attending as Hagane Miku from Vocaloid TYPE H, most likely with a matching Kaito (he attended last year's gathering)~

Friday: Hatsune Mikuo from Vocaloid (Love is War), with a matching Miku and megaphones.

Saturday: Yuna from Final Fantasy X (with staff)

I may be able to bring my KH2 Roxas out of semi-retirement for Fanime 2011~ I'm fine with most days, but Saturday is the Final Fantasy gathering >.< Friday would probably be best for me?

Saturday- Len *IMITATION BLACK* (Vocaloid)
Sunday- Taiga (Toradora!)

When you first enter the convention center, or go upstairs, there are boards that have details about the gatherings (Series, date, time, location)

I've been needing a thread like this! I'm looking for three different series:

Ranma 1/2 cosplayers attending on Friday? I'll be going as Ranma (female)
anybody going as Kaito or Gakupo from Vocaloid's "IMITATION BLACK", I'll be going as Len
finally, any Toradora cosplayers on Sunday? A friend and I will be going as Taiga and Minori.

While I won't be participating in the contest, I'll be attending as Tsumugi Kotobuki from K-ON's "Don't Say LAZY" with my friend as Mio Akiyama.
We're so lucky to have good weather this year, last year's heat wave was absoltely horrible D: I dressed for the heat and I still died >w<

Change of plans! I'll still be attending, but I will PROBABLY be wearing Toradora instead of Ranma 1/2?

I've been to Spirit of JapanTown for the last 2 years, but I disappointed to not see any cosplay events this year. Stage Zero did some fun interviews and games in 2008, so if there were more events in the festivals for cosplayers, the overall festival would be more enjoyable; not just for those dressed up, but the families~

I dance at Obon every year, but if there's cosplay events throughout the year, I'll make sure to come to San Jose more often!

Besides the heat, it was a great turn-out! I think more people showed up this year~

I am going to have to say Mochinsnack that sounds amazing. I didn't have a clue. I'm trying to network out and get some cosplayers that would not be to scared of some studio time too. I'm playing with lighting and always am looking for new victims when is the summer gathering going to be located?
