My photos for this and other gatherings are here. I set the album to "public", so I hope this works. My position was awkward, but oh well XD

EDIT: It's gone. I'll explain another day.

I'll remove photos upon request if someone in them doesn't like them.

I look forward to this again. I just hope I show up on time for the opening.

Gaming / F-Zero 99
November 26, 2023, 08:49:20 AM
A couple of months late, I know. But I can't help but be happy to play this game. I once had a weird rule for not buying new Nintendo consoles, but I'm glad I bought a Switch.

I'm currently trying to win in 1st place with the Fire Stingray, but this is quite a challenge. Only one victory for me so far with the Wild Goose...in a Mini Grand Prix XD

^ Thanks, that means a lot to me :)

Maybe next year I'll bring a kneepad XD

I uploaded my Cosplay photos (including this gathering) to my PhotoBucket.
If someone does not like a photo I included, please let know.

Things in the Universe / R.I.P. Eddie Van Halen
October 10, 2020, 11:54:24 PM
People who know me know how much I love Van Halen, my favorite band. So naturally, I am currently upset over the loss of Eddie, the band's guitarist  :'( He lost his battle with cancer on Tuesday, Oct 6th, 2020.
But I am glad that I got to see the band during their 2015 tour. The concert wasn't perfect, but I still enjoyed it.
I leave you with a link to Eruption, an instrumental from the band's debut album.

P.S. I am aware that today, Oct 10th, is David Lee Roth's birthday. I guess irony can't hurt (in a desperate attempt to lighten the mood XD )

Serious Business / Re: The downfall of PyronIkari.

I knew there was something off about him, and not just his ego.

He even attacked at least one of my friends many years ago.

Just gave your channel a follow.

Hope I remember to tune in.

Hotel and Facilities / Hotel stay 2019 feedback
June 03, 2019, 10:38:09 PM
And here we go again. How was your hotel stay this year?

Hotel: Westin (Saint Claire)

Pros:
Check-in and check-out went smoothly. Yay!
Still love that tall shower head  :)
Heater and airco worked wonderfully.

Weird coincidence:
Every time I was in the elevator, someone else went to my floor as well.

Questions:
How does the dial in the fridge work? Do you turn it to make the temp colder, or do you leave it alone for the coldest temp?

Cons:

No HBO on the TV...has it always been this way?
The king bed felt smaller than it did last year. I know that I'm not growing any taller.
I understand the need for a security guard in the lobby, but he gave me the vibe that he wanted to follow me all the way to my room (he didn't, but still that was weird).

Come back next year? Sure, why not.

Ideas and Suggestions / Re: Cooking Demonstrations

An eating challenge on Stage Zero? Count me in.

But what kind of legal issues could Fanime end up dealing with?

I'd say that Silver Island was underwhelming. An okay idea, with not-so-good execution.

- The "advance tickets" idea, I'm fine with. Keep that.
- Starting the events at 8pm felt weird. Especially for the screening rooms.
- Night Market: you can go to Artists Alley and get a similar, if not the same, effect. It didn't even have a Fakku booth XD
- Casino Night looked cool at least. The table games seemed to be more Vegas casino style rather than Indian casino style.
- Adult Game Room: meh.
- Didn't bother watching the stage shows. No further comment.
- The HMV show was run just fine...but something about the line for it, I didn't like...

Overall, I say bring the Hentai events back to "the mainland." Take back the Marriott rooms, lol. But what should take its place at the DoubleTree, you ask?  ;D
#19
Huh, I thought all of the hentai related events were shipped off to the DoubleTree this year.

It took me longer to get to the site than it did for me to book the room, lol.

Gotta hand it to Fanime and CMR staff this year :)
