I forgot the name of a romance anime, where the mc and a girl are classmates and fall in love they finally get serious, then she reveals she has a tumor and to get removed she would lose her memory's, she moves back to america to live with her family, they meet in the future, she regains her memory's, it ends with them and their best friends getting married

Real talk, Hunter Zero, with how close we were getting to the final Saturday with no word you had me worried we were skipping a month xD;

Any updates on where the video rooms will be this year and how many. Hope they are back at SJCC like before Covid.

Agree as well, if nothing else wish they would bring back FMV

Nothing on the site and diddly in the pocket guide.

If we got to take the shuttle there it should be obvious that there should be info about when stuff is happening so we know when to leave.

Additional info:

All video rooms will be in Silver Island....... *sigh* god, I hope this is only this year. because of the shuttle issues I'm going to have to disappoint the encouraging man standing in -10 degree water harvesting Asiatic clams.

Also they said FMV was back.... despite no announcements for entries being made this year... maybe it's a typo and they meant HMV?

I feel like in previous experience sign-up would have happened by now.

I'm a part of the Video team and the reasons for this are not what people think they are. Please note that this isn't because of special knowledge on my part, but I understand how Video works at FanimeCon and the complexity regarding the rights holders and showings.

The Video Rooms not happening is due to the combination of video rights holders as well as entry requirements for the convention center itself. A little known fact is that there are no badge checks for any of the video rooms at FanimeCon. This is because the rights holders allow FanimeCon to show videos, but don't allow FanimeCon to charge for them. This has worked in the past because the video rooms have always been located outside of the badging areas. While some rooms may check for ID for 18+ events, badges are not required.

This year, entry into the entire convention center requires a badge. This is for vaccination verification purposes. Since the entire convention center has restricted access, Video cannot show anything due to not having the rights to charge. I hope this helps people understand why this is the case this year.

For my own events, Midnight Madness and Hentai Music Videos are being held through the kindness and patience of the Programming and Panels teams, but those are special exceptions and it took a lot of work to make it happen.

From the Q&A session at the end of the convention, there is a hope and intention to bring back all sleeping departments (including Video) next year.

Missed this on the group, thanks for repeating it for us HunterZero, hopefully it can comeback 2023.... or failing that, find out the HMV is at the center soon enough that I can finish something and enter (was too late to work on anything when I found out Silver Island wasn't a thing this year ^^; )

Just wondering if there will be an AMV contest besides to hentai one for those of us that can't make it to Silver Island or just would rather make stuff without hentai (no judgement from me i've entered the HMV contest before)

uh...... couldn't figure out, thats why I asked out of a choice of those 2. I was told on the amv.org forum that threads about pinnacle and ulead usually get ignored though (btw thanks for the advice on that GIR and bunofgovt ^^ )

I admit I like this episode, but to me it does not live up to the last episode (ep 24-25 was madness, R2 EP 1 was kinda meh compared to that) it seamed like they used yet another death note-esc element

the memory wipe and recovery

but really wish it would have taken place a little closer to the events of season 1

the novelist has won the internet! bout time someone nuetral (not involved in video games or government) finnaly said this. I grew up on MK and doom and you dont see me carring an axe down the street decapitating homeless people. (the crude analogies are soem times the most understandable)

mainly because videogame movies have a reputation of being awful. that and I didn't know there was going to be a legend of zelda movie. (thought that trailer was a rickroll?)

maybe kick to the face is not the best choice of words givin the situation, but ya your right, any of the involved parties (the victim, the 8 responisible for the video, the parents or any media) that tries to pin this on anything but those 8 girls(no idea what the 9th said to start this but it was obviously just an intended scapegoat, no one is THAT oversensitive and intends to use a beating to become internet legends) deserves 10 times worse ridicule than whatever was said on these MS pages.
