Looking for new friends! :) I was hoping to maybe find some people to watch anime/talk to about anime in my area. I live in Butte County. Just really lacking in anime fans in my circle (everyone lives elsewhere it seems), which makes it hard to watch. (I say it's always more fun when you have people to watch it with).

Absolutely everything. DVDs, manga wise I would only need the reboot version, merchandise...etc Start throwing things at me :)


Additionally, I am looking to buy Reno's EMR from someone. I know some of you are very talented when it comes to creating cosplay pieces. I, unfortunately, while creative, work for the county in an 8-5 job that is quite exhausting. I know the costs of making these and I know the one I've found online is like 90 dollars...which is vastly overpriced.

Okay, so I didn't find this anywhere but I wanted opinions. What do you think of the remake coming up this summer?
I was always unsatisfied with the 90s adaptation in terms of an interpretation of the manga. So, I have high hopes.

Ok so...

Anyone else out there going to cosplay as anyone from Dramacon? I know..I know..it's highly unlikely. I'm such a dork. I have a Matt plushie, which is exciting :) I'm 100% positive no one will recognize me. I mean...dressing as a con-going girl...? I'll blend in with the crowd!!! :O

Not to mention everyone and their brother has a Kyou hat.

And if you aren't cosplaying, any cosplayers out there at least like Dramacon? :)

I know this is extremely odd thing of me to ask because I've never had this problem before...

But for the life of me I cannot thing of anyone to cosplay as. I was hoping for some ideas based on my looks alone. I know that it's pretty much whoever you want to cosplay as it's up to you to pull it off but I was hoping that you guys coudl help me come up with some simple ideas...? :) I've done quite a few in the past but now I'm a little poorer....boo dorm life.

So, in honor of Pirates of the Caribbean 3 coming out, a few of my friends and I are dressing as pirates and cosplaying. We'll also be wearing our costumes to the 11:59 showing on -SATURDAY- at Camera 12 near the con.

Anyone else cosplaying as anytype of pirate? Whether it be One Piece..PotC, or some other genre. Speak up!.

Saw laods of Sailor moon characters at this con (makes me happy) and I ahve one question, in particular for those with items, like brooches, etc.

where coudl I find those kinds of items to do my Sailro Jupiter costume? Did you all make them?

and for the Luna I saw there- PLEASE how did you get the necklace? I've been locking for one like that to finish off mine for a LONG time

I realize I am probably mistaken but I thought I had read someone the Yaoi Nights events were for 17+, did this change fromt he year before?
