4-27-2015 update - Tabletop has released their tournament/events list for this year. E-Gaming will be next!
So what version of Guitarfreaks/Drummania V3 are we getting thi-oh I guess that answers the question. Again. For the 5th year in a row.
4-30-2015 update = E-Gaming has released their events/tournaments list for this year. Tournament specific details will be updated ASAP (probably in the overflow post if I manage to hit the character cap).
@ abcbadcat and SatoshiS: We are currently waiting on our Arcades vendor to give us the list for this year. I'll update the OP ASAP and announce it =)
@ jedisurvivor : Yes!
Thanks to offers from the community and new developments, E-Gaming is busy adjusting the tournament schedule and finalizing new tournament details. Given the sheer amount of details however, we might update it in waves.
@ Mizuki - We will be updating either the OP or the 2nd post in this thread with details. What I can tell you tho is for the DOTA2 1 vs 1, it will be based on the "Practice 1 vs 1" that is found in-game.
Question about the League of legends 5V5 tournie are you gonna be put people into groups of 5 or do you need to bring in a team of 5 people?
Hey, just a quick thread I posted up in the General Gaming forum, but I made a teambuilder thread for Dota/League if anyone is looking for a team or the like: http://forums.fanime.com/index.php/topic,20067.msg485035.html#msg485035
Any explanation why USF4 is on 360 instead of PS3, which was used in previous years?
5/19 update: we have formally announced our Arcade Machine List, which can be found in the 2nd post of this thread, or click below:
http://forums.fanime.com/index.php/topic,19941.msg483547.html#msg483547
I need to find my old Initial D cards now; I miss using my old RX8 back at SJSU. Will we be able to buy new cards from the machines?
And what version of DDR will you have? (Or is it DDR 2013?)
Hi everyone, thank you for coming out for this year's Gaming Hall! Games Management is aware there is quite a bit of feedback for our area - please standby for the feedback forms that will be setup.
I do want to say this: we are 100% aware that some tournaments did not run smoothly as we would of liked. We do apologize for the inconsistent tournament experiences and we are reviewing what we can do to improve for 2016.
I'm aware that you'll be putting up a feedback form, but just in case my concern doesn't fit in it, I thought I'd post it here, too.
I went to do some tabletop gaming (brought my own games, but wanted to play in the Fanime environment rather than upstairs in a small hotel room), but the long tables at the entrance were so close together that it was very difficult for people sitting in the center to get out. I was constantly scooting my chair all the way in so that people could get by, but they could barely fit even with the maximum space with two chairs filled on each side of them. That could be a big issue if there were an emergency that required evacuation or if someone at the tables got hurt and needed medical attention but were difficult to reach quickly. They should be spread out more, if possible.
I'm also waiting for the gaming hall 2015 feedback thread to be up :3 I really really enjoyed it this year!
