Even though everyone is pretty much over Pokemon (myself included) I'm still going to bring it. :P
I'll also bring EBA and Ouendan. I don't have Ouendan 2 yet, I have too much school work to do before getting addicted to those games all over again.

What's bad is if you read the comments from the youtube video, people are going, "OMG, that's so cool, I'm going to do this, too!!" which means we might have even more inconsiderate glompers running around this year.  I swear, if anyone tries doing this to me, unasked, they're going to get a hard shove in the face and/or a cussfest.

Several people posted more serious comment too, myself included. You know, telling about the serious side of glomping and all that and to ask permission and blah blah blah. She deleted those comments.  >:(
But all the comments she kept were all the "omg kawaii awesome" fangirly comments, and those comments worry me....

Agreed. Even the different flavored ones don't taste like much. They're also way too much money for the little bit you get. The bottles are cool though.

I didn't see any this year, but I wasn't looking very hard. Yaoi/Yuri paddles are evil. There's nothing worse than having a bunch of 13 year old fangirls chasing cosplayers with yaoi paddles. I think you can buy those things online, but I don't remember where. Sorry I'm not much help.

You sound like the kind of people I try to avoid at anime conventions.

I hate glompers. I've had people follow me around so they could glomp me. I swear, some people don't seem to realize that we cosplayers are PEOPLE, not anime characters. I've seen people have their costumes or props broken due to glomping, and I feel really bad for those people. I don't mind if people ask me for a hug, but if they run at me with full force and surprise me, I have a problem with that. It's common courtesy to ask first. I think a lot of glompers think that cosplayers are anime characters and don't feel pain.

There was a bunch of Nintendo cosplays, such as Marios, Luigis, Toads, Princesses, "?" blocks, Wiimotes, etc... but I think I was the only Dr. Mario. Hmm..maybe a Smash Bros. Gathering in the future? (although Dr. Mario may get axed for Brawl)

I actually made a thread for a Smash Bros. gathering next year, but I think it got knocked down the the second page. I think a Smash Bros. gathering would be awesome, and I don't care what character goes to the gathering as long as they were in ANY Smash Bros. game.

I only have one (somewhat small) gripe, and I'm not sure where to put that down, so...I suppose here's as good as anywhere.

I was in the pretear skit, and I was -HORRIFIED- when the press was taking flash photography while we were setting up. There was a reason we were doing it in the dark, and that's because we wanted the whole thing to be a nice surprise. Unfortunately, half the audience saw what we were doing because of all of the flashes  :?  Is there any way that there can be no flash during skit setup next year? I know at least a few other people that thought that doing so was like peeking ahead of time.

Yeah, that pissed me off too and I wasn't even in that skit. Why couldn't people just wait thirty seconds until the lights went on to see what you were setting up?

As for the costume, I made it. My father helped with the head (It was wire frame and needed to be sautered(sp)) and I used an old costume pattern for the body.

I'm glad you liked it though.

There are various tutorials around the web that could probably help you, or you could probably commission a fursuiter to make you one.
