2013 Adventure Time Gathering!

Just got home from Fanime, and I just have to say THANK YOU to EVERYONE who showed up to the gathering! It went amazingly and that's thanks all to you(and Nick Fury. LOL)!

Still waiting for a good photo of the final group shot to make the official attendee count, but I'm willing to bet we were way over 60, which means we'll have a bigger space and bigger time-slot next year! :D I hope everyone had a great time and I hope you can make it to the next gathering!!

I counted 86. :3 But of course, that's not including the people who had to leave early and didn't make the second group shot. :<

I know we left early cause I couldn't stand how small that area was. I was getting mad claustrophobic.

For next year they shouldn't try to have a huge group in that location, even for photographers, they too seemed super cramped trying to get a decent shot without being too close to us.

Judging by the group shot, it seemed like there was a lack of Jakes. Now I wish I would've been able to be there even more! :(

The location was a real challenge to get good shots in.  It didn't help that that the trees and lamp posts meant you had to get closer if you didn't want your shot partially blocked.

Thank you for taking photos! And I agree with the issues in the location, unfortunately there wasn't much else of an option due to construction. :[

Construction will be complete by next year, so there will be new locations most likely. Also, since this gathering has gotten to be quite large, it'd probably be possible to use the place that the 60+ gatherings use. Just thought I'd throw that out there haha

I am well aware. lol I knew the gathering was gonna get big, so I tried my hardest to harass my friends and other AT cosplayers I saw throughout the day into coming so that we'd have 60+ xDD And adventure time is one of those things that's gonna be popular for a while, so we're gonna need a larger space for future gatherings! lol

There was quite the increase from last year's gathering to this year's lol Hopefully I don't have to work during the Adventure Time gathering next year, Jake wanted to dance with some babes! haha
