Hotel Name: Fairmont
Would You Book Next Year: Maybe, though I'd rather stay at the Hilton or Marriott (since they're right next door to the convention center and are less expensive)
Pros: large rooms, locks on the bathrooms, soft beds, roomy (never crowded) elevators
Cons: a block away, so I had to walk back and forth if I needed to do anything in my room. I also hated the keycard thing for the building, as if one forgets his/her keycard, you can't get into the elevator or up the building
Special Notes to Share: I had never stayed here before, so didn't know they would charge for the snack bar and the full amount of the room on the credit card of the person using a credit card. I think it's ridiculous, so I don't think I'll be staying at this hotel again, despite how much more walking would've done me. Plus, it's a bit too costly for me, and there wasn't a jacuzzi like at the Marriott. Another thing was that my driver's side door handle got pulled off by somebody. :(

I do need 8 more people, because I have pretty big rooms and one completely open room. If I don't get 8 people, I'm thinking of asking if anyone wants to take a room off my hands since it's too late to cancel it.

Needing 1 roommate (no gender specific)
Intro: Hello, my name is Sora, and I'm a bi yaoi fangirl from the bay area. I'm in my almost-late 20s and am very easy-going, but dislike messes in rooms (when it gets out of control).
Hotel info: Marriott, two junior suites, $93 a person for the entire weekend
Requirement: No drinkers or smokers. For the earlier, as long as your breath doesn't smell like alcohol, drink in the room, or come back to the room drunk. For the latter, I'm extremely sensitive to cigarette smoke, even on a person's breath, so please use a breath mint or other if you are a smoker. Please pick up after yourself; it's appreciated.
Contact: PM me or call me at (510) 517-8126. Do not attempt to text me. Thank you.
Miscellaneous: I know posted here before, but I had a person drop out on me last minute. Just found out yesterday.

Can you use another person's phone? Or a house phone?

I can carpool people in SJ area. Just PM me if you need a ride. All I ask for is a bit of gas money, like $10-$20.

I would gladly join. ;D Either will be riku or sora

Well, it's official, Hilton has no available suites for Fanime this year, so it's up to either the Marriott or Fairmont.
Fairmont has two suite types available, the Signature Suite (3 person, $231/night) and the Executive Suite (4 person, $224/night).

Hope that helps!

I hope they offer suites for Marriott like last year.

I didn't participate in this event, so count me out.

I wish I did Riku this year! But, Sora was good too. *only merboy Sora at Fanime*

How did this event go? I didn't participate, sadly, but I may if it comes back in '11.

Next year, I'm going as England, while my Naru is doing America.

I got bummed that I missed it this year...:( By the time I'd put the outfit on, it was time for the KH gathering, so I had to switch out again. I may be doing a new character next year, but I don't know who yet...

I missed it this year! :( Because Hetalia was at the same hour...I haven't yet decided what I'm doing yet, but when I do, I'll post again

Like a hotel room, orrr...?? Either way, I think some of the fun was the spontaneity of it!

I haven't decided, but I'll know before next year. Also, is anyone here going to Y-con? (I know this is off-topic of fanime) I'm hosting a spin the bottle there. XD

I meant "somewhere where Fanime wouldn't be liable", yeah. But, it'd probably be a little smaller too. who knows.

I will inform people about it, once the con gets closer next year. But, like I said, it'd be in a more private setting.
