Hello everyone! I'm the original organizer of the gathering. I'd like to thank KyraEnsui who helped create a gathering forum while I was away. And Konata for setting up a gathering thread in the Cosplay.com forums. Your hard work will not go unrewarded!

Pre-Gathering game: HOT NAPPO/PINEAPPLE. It's like a game of Hot Potato. All KHR characters are welcomed to play!

HOW DO YOU PLAY HOT NAPPO?: If you're familiar with the game hot potato or musical chairs, you'll get this game just fine. The game begins with of course, a pineapple. All players will form into a giant circle, once the music starts you must pass the pineapple down to the next person. When the music stops, whoever is still holding the pineapple is out and must leave the circle. We then continue with the game once the music starts up again. THERE WILL BE PRIZES!
NOTE: It would be nice if someone could provide music for Hot Nappo. I'm not confident that my speakers will be loud enough to hear when we go outside. If you got a boom box or some loud speakers, please bring them.
UPDATE: HOLY GIOTTO! I just discovered that LM.C, will be coming to Fanime for Musicfest! In case you're not aware who they are, they are the ones who sung the opening songs "BOYS & GIRLS" and "88" for KHR!

Big news guys, BSaphire and I have decided it would be better to move the location to the Marriot side, instead of the Hilton. That way when we play Hot Nappo, we can get better sound quality.

Your other friends can be around the gathering too, but they won't be able to join us in the photoshoots since they're not KHR cosplayers.

Uh, just a sec, (sorry for the spam!) I was wondering if anyone would like to do something like the Death Note Gathering is doing, like listing posing ideas for pictures and such. They were talking about themes and pairings and such.

But I know what you mean by the tonfas. Back in 2008, when I was cosplaying Hibari, my tonfas were not allowed to be wield in public. Tonfas are illegal to own, even if they aren't real. So for the gathering I only brought one of them with me, and it was already peace-bonded. if any rovers were present, I just slipped it back into my bag and left it at the hotel.
. . Even fake tonfa are illegal? . . . Is this just a California law or you know. In general? *has been to numerous cons with various Hibari's . . .all of which had tonfas if she remembers correctly*
...WE CAN'T BRING TONFAS?!... Can we bring our tonfas if they are made out of PVC pipe and spray paint? .A.;;;
Totally last minute, but I miiight drop in as Chrome for a little bit, even though I haven't read KHR in like, almost a year. :-\

That's... like REBORN without LEON. It's WEIRD. I asked on the peacebonding Q&A thread thing - the person told me that they'd double-checked and even tonfa make of toilet paper cardboard rolls weren't allowed because they were technically still tonfa. =_=
@Touya no Miko: That's true, but I can still kind of imagine him writing: "Gokudera Hayato: Bitten to Death by Hibari Kyouya at 11:36AM" or something. XDDDDD I didn't know they were illegal to own..... REALLY!? Last year I took a pic of a Hibari with his tonfa. O.Q Unfortunately, I can't do that because I live close enough to drive, so we just carpool there each day, and we're also too young to get a hotel without adult supervision. XD

Haha. Pathetically enough, I'm actually in the business center at the Hilton in half of my Squalo cosplay. xD I also ran around downtown in my Giotto. xD Getting funny looks is entertaining.

Haha~! Ran around yesterday as Giotto for a while! The damn cloak chain kept breaking though - it was kind of annoying so I probably won't do him again other than for the gathering. That and people kept stepping on my cloak. (Can't blame them really - the damn thing liked to fly all over the place. xD)
I'll be wandering around as a 'Dera today with a make shift Uri. A very make-shift Uri. xD

The gathering was awesome though, even if the vicious affection of my decendants broke my cloak chain. (Though that thing broke at least 20 times before the end of the con! I clearly suck at linking chains properly. xD)

. . . and my Squalo lost his voice the last day, just about. Squeaky 'Vooii'-fail happened. ;^; It made a shark sad. Couldn't even intimidate a freaking pigeon with it.
I had trouble finding your event and missed seeing all of you at the Jump gathering :( I hope that my photogs were able to find you guys and get shots *crosses fingers* Sounds like it was a great gathering though :)
