Yes, I've asked about this before. . . well, look at the title. ^^; So. . . Here's the story.

I, as a stupid newbie at cosplaying, went on eBay and searched for an Allen Walker wig. Only one good one showed up. (There were others that weren't, in my opinion, very good, of course) It looked great! So I bought it. And when it got to me. . . it was longer than it seemed in the picture. O.O So I freaked and e-mailed the seller, who promptly told that it was styled in the picture. Dx So I go to all the salons around that I go to to get my hair cut at, and most of them gave me a big REFUSAL sign. o.o So I thought, that's strange, why can't they cut my wig?. . . until I did some research and learned that wigs can damage most human-hair-cutting scissors. Also, most human-hair-cutting techniques don't work with wigs.

So here's my final question. Does anyone know a good place where I can get it cut, or (if it comes down to it) can cut it for me? >.< Yes, I'm too chicken to cut it myself.

In reply to Froxen Shade's thread xDD; So. How young IS too young? My "group" and I are all still in middle school; we planned on going to Fanime every year since last year. But is 13-14 too young? o_O

My Allen Walker wig came in the other day. . . and it was way longer than I thought it would be. >_< I'm too scared to cut it myself, because, if I cut it wrong, I'll have to get another one. . . and for a 14-year-old, I don't really have that much financial freedom ^^; Does anyone know where I can get it cut, or have any tips for cutting it myself?

. . . it seems that minors can't buy weapons from the con, but what about bringing them from home? I was going to do a sort of 'murderous school girl' cosplay for the first day, and was going to bring an unsharpened katana from home (which I received at my dojo). Is this allowed? o.o
