The Unknowns
-Asian Cinema. Without a program guide, I didn't have anything to go on when choosing movies to watch, so I ended up not actually walking into the viewing rooms except during one movie while I was practically falling asleep on Monday at 6am. So I didn't really get a taste of what was there, sadly.

I realize how much having a program guide could have helped our traffic, but did the summaries in front of the rooms help at all? We do try to have full summaries for the films in front of the rooms, so I am just trying to gauge how much they make a difference.

Having the summaries in front of the room was a HUGE help. And I enjoyed the music vids that were used as filler between movies/shows. Thanks!  :wink:

Wonderful idea! :D The Internet Cafe allowed me to stay connected to the fundraisering/planning committee I'm on and also scheduling several last minute rehearsals for this week.  Kudo to Fanime for having this available to us! :wink: Thanks to Fanime my weekend was stress free.

Hmm... do you realize what kind of trouble these girls could have gotten the Con in?  There are several state and/or county codes, if violated, come with a hefty fines.  I have worked/participated in several different craft fairs and even the smallest fair, the food vendor(s) must have a food safety certificate, among other things (and that includes non-profit chartable, too).

On the other hand, it is sad to hear that one did break down and cried. I understand these girls thought they were doing something really cool and charitable but all they had to do was check with the Con first and get clearance (from the Con).

Hopefully, next year if they choose to attend, they will check with the Con first and all will be well. And we’ll have yummy treat to eat, too. :wink:

The MusicFest was frickin AWESOME!!!  I stayed for the WHOLE show ALL the BANDS were great in their OWN way. For me,  :wink: I love hearing a wide variety of styles. It was all over too soon.

I was sitting upstairs and watched all the folks rush the stage after the “hey folks this area is for you” announcement.  All da chairs on the ground floor went from being full to empty.  :o Which stayed like that pretty much the whole show.  The reason why I was sitting upstairs is because  :roll: I'm too short to see anything.  *sniff sniff*

Besides being asked to move back way too many times  :( (what was up with that), I thought the whole waiting in line experience was way better than 2004.

And... Stage One. Great idea!  8) I was constantly checking it out on Fri, Sat, Sun.

I still have "Kyoukai Muki Sekai" and "I Just Wanna Kiss You" going through my head. :D

What I'm wondering did that poor cymbal survive the night.  :shock:
