Sleep? What is this thing...sleep? Can you eat it?

Sleep is that thing you steal about 20 minutes at a time in after at least one full day at the con in the screening rooms.  :)

Since we've had the schedule for the video for some time, was wondering when we might see the schedule for the Panels and Workshops on the site...

Last year, they officially had some screenings on Thursday (pre/early-reg pickup night), more as testing the equipment than anything.

Anything planned for this year, or is it going to be just picking up the badges?

As a suggestion to the field:

If you're going to do Musical Chairs, do as we did at Tales and get it off the stage if you get more than a certain number of people.  Don't want the fight for chairs to send someone off the stage...

And more dance-offs for tiebreakers!!!  :)

Yep, we have something going on pretty much all the time.

How many all-night video rooms will there be, for starters?  Six?  Eight??

Karaoke.  Probably dances.  Arcade???

And then there's all the informal gatherings.

One point to Lawyer Girl:

I'm sure you didn't have one of these signs, but I saw quite a number of "HUG ME!" signs from the ladies.

Given the stereotypical lack of social grace of an otaku, some of them probably took it as open season.

I think a lot of people wanted to get in touch with him or her.  That was a great video -- but why I replied was:  Geez Louise with all the Fruits Basket stuff...  But from what I heard from the guy from Funimation is that it might end up Japan's call (on how much they might be able to get from here) as to whether a second season of Furuba is ever done.

Couple of more:

Gotta agree on the Dealer's Room.  Only one thing I really wanted to buy, and figured I could get it at AX for about the same price (though not at the booth of the licensing company which sells it).  It just seemed that all the toy shops had the same toys and there wasn't really much difference.

Of course, I had to like this:  Linda Tran, the model, sitting next to the booth for SiliCon.  :)

Back to video:  Almost wish they'd have people (not all the time) at the Info booths, especially with all the fansubs, that one could go up to and say "I like X, Y, and Z animes.  What do you recommend from all these fansubs..."  Didn't watch as much as the anime itself as I would want to.

I'll put up more later, but here's one that bit me a couple times...

I know you guys like to have a lot of different media formats, but you have to make sure that you have the machinery to work with it -- even if you get a bit submarined.  Happened to the room I wanted to watch Friday morning and again for Midnight Madness.

What is it going to cost to play??

I also plan to bring my own deodorant, since I have to keep myself from falling into the fan-boy funk.

Will the Arcade and the like be open for early-reggers on Thursday, or not until Friday morning?

So the Thursday screenings will start at 6, right??

Will they go all night into Friday morning as well?

-- make sure I'm clean.  (There'll be enough "con funk" out there...)
-- not go to sleep unless I'm at a hotel room I buy or in the park 100 yards from the Convention Center.
