Oh hi guys! Cosplay Chess has been at Fanime since 2008, and has been advertised in the program and schedule for participating years. It has always been held in the gaming hall (Exhibit Hall 3) and by the fountains by cosplayers, usually for Bleach. We will continue to have cosplay chess for this year as well.

^_^ I should also add that the Tabletop/Social Gaming Department staff is super nice and accomodating!

O hai gamers <3 I want to know from you what games (any platform: Arcade/Console/Tabletop/Party) you want to see in the Gaming Hall for 2012! For those that apply, do not post games that involve running or harsh physical contact. I don't like seeing injuries! I will consider all entries from everyone! :D

To note: If you are a group who wants to host their own game, you can also post to this thread and I will work with you to push your event!

Dokuban, Slam Dunk, Princess Nine, Battle Athletes, hmm... There are plenty more unless you alter an existing cosplay to fit the theme~

I knew there would be some difficulties running this event for the first year, so I appreciate the criticism and feedback. There was myself creating clues and events, while Sam was double-checking and including much-needed feedback and anything additional to fill in gaps. I would like to let everyone know that a lot of planning goes into an event such as the race, and I have been planning it for quite some time; over a year. I had been stressed the entire time for obvious reasons, so I do apologize if things were not up to par with certain standards you all may have had. I would like to thank those who participated and we will likely bring this event back next year!

Cosplaying is welcomed, but be aware that participants will be doing a lot of fast walking as running is not allowed and will be enforced. :D Teams will also be labeled by color too <3

@Ruby: We were apprehensive in the first place, but since you voiced your opinion, we decided to changed it for others in the Swap Meet.

@ReakuBart: Yes, both team members please. The qualifying round begins at noon and we release participants to the event soon after.

@Ruby: There's more to the event on Thursday than just registering. Since we are prepared for a large crowd, we will be having a qualification round to narrow down teams to a smaller group. I will release more information regarding those who are swap meet vendors at a later date, so no worries.

@Xanreo: The qualification round will start in the late afternoon/evening. The set time will be during Swap Meet hours, so stay tuned for updates~
@GS: For now, the time and day is set for logistic purposes since the events are on a schedule. The teams who pass the qualification round will be checking in for their materials during early Friday afternoon to begin the race shortly after.
