The Nico Nico Douga panel was very well done from the amount I saw before leaving. It's always good to have a great sense of humor, and I'm still looking around for that live feed.

What exactly do you mean by auto-tuning?

The cafe actually did more than the cafe I went to with Malcolm in Japan in terms of performances and interaction (The Honey Honey experience, though it might have just been my language barrier at the time); many performances, which were very authentic looking. I was really impressed, and it was too bad during my time no one else joined in with the clapping and fist pounding bits.

I really can't think of anything that pointed outward or struck me as odd; the maids I was given were also very friendly and receptive.

In other words,

WATCH OUT FOR SHOPLIFTERS!!!

Keep your eyes on your merchandise, everyone!

One of the things that really bothered me was the island. I specifically asked for a wallspace due to this reason alone; if you're an independent seller without backup keeping your eyes open during transactions and bartering makes things difficult. Though in the future it's better if you put up a sign that says "Please let me assist you" or something along those lines.

BlazBlue for 75 cents was highly disappointing, same with Dance Maniax crazy 1$ charge. Third Strike 50 cents was also a huge letdown for many other people. The arcade was just too pricey.

Registration / Re: 2010 Pre-registration
May 25, 2009, 10:47:47 PM
In the future I think providing hours in the pocket guide (Which was VERY helpful by the way) which Con Pre-Reg is open for next year would be great. I was told they'd be open till 2PM, went down at 1:14, and they were already shut up.

Posting this thread before I forget.

Momoi made the con for the lot of us attendees this year, and at autographs at 11AM I was chatting with one of her staff while in line and supposedly if she is invited back again next year they'd definitely come once again.

This is a 364 Day advance request! JUST DO IT!

"The Melody of Hatsune Miku" Fanime 2009 Panel

I really enjoyed hosting the panel for all to see this year, and was very happy with the turnout.

I found out the picture I have doesn't have the "NEGI!" photo, and I'm looking for a copy of the image, as well as any other media.

Also, I remember in the front row a person was filming the entire panel. Does anyone have that person's contact info or way for me to get a copy? I'd like to have it :)

Thank you again and see you next year!

No CvS2? :(

Are you running on PS2console?

If you are, can I bring CvS2 and play :D

Quote*disclaimer none of these games I will be running will be on the arcade so they could earn their revenue*

Depending on the hours, I may be interested in EFZ or something else if it's setup somewhere. Party's Breaker is a change of pace too.

Official songs in my opinion would probably be simply the Re:Gratitude CD, the tracks provided in the Hatsune Miku Mixing Box, and associated PSP game (Project Diva) tracks. The rest of the fan community is humongous otherwise.

<Shameless Plug> Alex and Gale I'd love it if you could come to the Vocaloid panel.</Shameless Plug>

Throwing out a tentative (repeat: tentative!) more official rules thing for FUC out there -

Fate: Unlimited Codes
Signups will be available at eGaming's front booth all day until 7:45
Tournament starts at 8

1v1 double elimination tournament (unless there are 4 or less players, then round robin)
- 2/3 matches in a set
- Random seeding
- Nothing's banned
- Loser may change characters inbetween matches

<Insert large obnoxious "AUGGGGH" text here>

At the very least I hope there will be a lot of casuals over the weekend. Won't make it since Swap Meet starts at 8PM Friday.

QuoteNEW! BlazBlue Tournament is NOW official in eGaming.

Hooray! \o/

Sorry for the delay on the image. Here's mine.

You did great capturing last year's image, so full trust in your style of approach.

Also, good thing I didn't choose my other image choice:

Since apparently Meirin already took it XD.

Panels and Workshops / Re: More Panels? When/How?
April 15, 2009, 01:23:07 AM
I think the concern some people had during late night Fanime is that there's not a lot to do in the middle morning hours besides the viewing rooms and E-gaming, so I'd be in support of this in the future.

I don't want to see half a dozen Miku cosplayers. I want to see Luka and Rin there as well =D

Well if anything, my panel's currently on Sunday, so there maybe be more cosplay than you can handle. (Slightly worried about Masquerade's Time though)

It sounds particularly interesting, but it seems like something that really would only be covered with a handful of people rather than a general convention event; in terms of size and scale. But Clue is a pretty entertaining game, and maybe Tabletop will have it.

Quote from: Other ThreadYou just gave me a great idea! If you got a complete different idea already then please let me know so I can use this. It will be like the game CLUE, you can have 8 different people be some fictional character, 1 of those characters is the murder to someone or something, then you place clues around the whole hotel or the panel room, then when the person guesses who the murder is, they win a prize!

The big thing there is Hotel security. Leaving things in random areas in a hotel (Bags, Tools, anything really) could be a threat to the safety of the people living there. Again, I think it's really only viable in a small household.
