Well, you can use what you want, nobody really cares =P. The channel is getting much more active...there's no reason to take it down

Well, there seems to be a lot of "It would be cool to do x," in here, but not a lot of actual organizing =P. Two people have offered game nights in their house, which I would definitely try to make it, but not much is gonna happen if we don't set times and dates, etc.

For example, I helped setup a dinner meet in Japantown this saturday (http://bayanime.com/bayanime-dinner-meetup-at-sf-japantown-13-jun-09). This way, people know when it's happening, and they can rsvp.

Anyone who wants to set something up on the site I linked above, send me a PM or something. If anyone else has other suggestions to help out, speak up! =]

Seriously, what does 10 seconds vs. a minute, or whatever, matter. I will take the option of using different clients and incomparable customability over a very slightly faster logon any day. What are you thinking? =P

lol, IRC is way better than whatever this is. It doesn't require any signups or anything either, so I don't see what the advantage of "chatango" is. IRC lets you choose your client...with this your stuck with this ugly web interface =P

I would love to get together sometime, and would definitely help organize it.

My two top ideas would be kind of a social / board game night, which was mentioned above; basically a party at some one's house. The other would be a dinner gathering, where we'd all just go out to a local restaurant one night.
