Hey! I had a lot of photos snagged of me so I'm hoping to see any! I was Ellis on Friday and Sunday and Nick on Saturday. Both from Left 4 Dead 2. :> I had mud and blood all over both cosplays.

I wore Ellis (on the left). I bought a wig too.
And I was Nick (dude on the right).

When I went for first time and for only one day in 2008, I was under the age of 18 at the time and was worried about the same thing. I took my school ID just in case but they didn't really need it. They needed my name, home address, e-mail and birthday. And nickname. Waited two hours in line to buy my pass and enjoy the rest of my day. I don't know if you'll need the ID atcon but I'd bring it + wait for an official answer.

I mainly post fan art for video games and rarely cosplays but I'll be posting photos I've taken from this year's con. But after a month or two I put them in storage because well, I just do. :\ Still have the ones I took last year though.

What you'll find: LOTS of Left 4 Dead / Left 4 Dead 2, random L4D fan fictions, pictures of daily life or something stupid and uh, journals that probably get updated once every billion years. But eh, it's mainly video games. ;p

I don't think I can make it Thursday. My transportation to the convention is with a friend so I'm not so sure if she wants to go. We live about an hour away from SJ so whatever the next day is, is probably the best choice for me.

Yeah, haha. It'll make sense. It's just a 'muddy-ed up' Ellis cosplay. ('Cause before they were clean / I didn't have coveralls at the time, blah blah blah) For once, I think I actually might have a perfect one despite my size.
I'm so freaking excited though, I can't sleep and I have my college final tomorrow. Oh man. This is so awesome. dsfhjgs

EDIT: I was reading around because I was trying to figure out where the location of the photoshoot will be (because I've been checking every other day for months now because I'm scared I'll get it wrong) and I read that they replaced the fountains and made it a flowerbed. I am so disappointed.

Ho man, this sounds like mega fun. Too bad the cosplay I planned on doing on Saturday wouldn't really work that well. 'Cause well, I have ideas in mind and other stuff but yeah. Still, I'd love to go to this.
I'm debating on Saturday but I'll totally come as Ellis (Left 4 Dead 2) on Sunday.

So I read about the NERF guns and I'm super concerned that mine won't passed considering my cosplays consist of a character holding a firearm. It's painted, yes. And has the orange tip clearly shown. It also stated that it can't be functional, so I cut the string inside the gun but I'm still deadly worried that I won't be able to carry it because technically, it can still fire. Can I still bring this? Obviously, I ain't stupid and bring ammo for it.
I saw someone else bring one last year but I didn't get a chance to ask if there's was functional or not so. ... Yeah.

If not, I'll have to get on my butt and buy a new one. Or can I glue it together? I mean, it only serves me for cosplaying. Like glue the part of the toy where you are suppose to reload the shells then stuff the barrels with something?

I was wondering about that, if we could bring a second custom that fits the game could we quickly change into and stuff? I was thniking about bringing my v3.0 of Ellis but I'm not sure if I should.
Nonetheless, it's comin' so soon and I can't wait! ~
