anyone have a preference for what day/time? friday morning & afternoon, sat morning, or anytime monday works for us!

i was just curious, since the date on the site is incorrect, how long we have to change our information for our group? like what if one of the members gets sick/cant go/we substitute someone else, can we change it at con if we need to?

final fantasy 8 is planning a gathering for saturday, we're planning for the same time as ff7 and the same location so the photographers dont have to miss either

on the cosplay.com boards, we're talking about having a KH gathering on friday, since sat and sun are so full with other gatherings already. does anyone remember what time opening ceremonies are usually at? i'm thinking the gathering should be around 4 or 5 so we still have day light hours but we're not too early to miss any cosplayers still in school, but i cant remember when opening ceremoines are and certainly dont want to conflict with that.

so, we should probably work on setting a time for the gathering if we all want to go to one, eh?

saturday is the most popular day of the con usually, though i know it's pretty packed with other photoshoots as well.

my group has finally decided to wear [summers away from hogwarts] ginny, george and fred weasley.

we'd be able to do a gathering sometime saturday before noon, but after noon, we're quite booking with other photoshoots. and sunday, we have photoshoots and masquerade stuff to deal with... if anyone wants to do the gathering a different day, feel free to suggest! friday and monday are completely open for us, though i know monday isn't necisarily that busy for the con.

not technically yet, but he might be affter this con. :)

i have a small update from the chikins, anjelchan has decided she cannot afford to attend.

HOWEVER, we are bringing another cosplayer who promises he will cosplay brother for us!

so if you could take lulu/anjelchan off the list, and add shobbs/brother to the list, that'd be awesome!

mybe 4.30 is better than 4.45? i was just thinking the FFX/X-2 gathering is at 4 though and some people might be busy with that. i dunno. i wanted to go to that as Rin. i could leave early though if its still going on and change. no worries.

that way we can have more time for the contest?

the regular FF gathering usually takes place at the fountains right? i think since we're haing the moogles at the same time, we should do it at the same place, simply because some might want to be involved in both gatherings. and most of the photographers who would be there would probably go to the FF gathering rather than the moogle gathering simply because the FF one would be bigger.

just my two cents.. maybe we can meet at luckinspades booth, and then move? or meet at 4.45 at the booth, and go to the fountains at 5? that would give us 15 minutes to do our moogle things with the contest or whatever, and still give the photographers the option to photograph both gatherings without missing anything.

hate to be a bother, but does "# How many conventions have you participated in Masquerade?" mean how many Fanime masquerades? or in general, how many convetions' competitions have we been in?

out of curiousity, if you know, does the question

"Are the fabric/material edges "finished" or left raw and cut? (this shows time and patience, if you make sure of the quality and details)."

refer to if the edges are completely untouched, if they are hemmed, or if they are sergered?

one of the girls in my group worded it as "'no hemming on the end of a shirt so there's thread dangling' raw or 'Seams not professionally serged on the underside where no one can really see' raw?"

we deffinitely have an X rikku, and our auron might opt to be songstress rikku, depending on what other characters are gonna be there.

i'll go ahead and be Rin for the FFX gathering and then change into the moogle for the general FF gathering

Hmm...since the Final Fantasy gathering is planned for Saturday at 5PM, does anyone mind the Moogle gathering bieng at that time!? ^_^

i have a moogle costume that i could bring, but i was hoping to wear my rin [ffx] costume to the ffx gathering at 4, so mybe it'll be a quick change at 5 from rin to moogle. i can do it.

i have KH selphie and my friend has KH auron, and we'd love to try and make it to a gathering!

one of the girls in my desert chikins group is going as soi fong and i bet she'd love to go to the gathering.

my group [desert chikins] and i have a lulu, rikku, auron, and Rin.

our auron has the option of being younger auron or older auron
and our rin has the option of being Rin or a moogle.

we'd love to get together!
