-pops head in- I will be back in my Vincent Valentine cosplay this year again! Hopefully it won't rain >.> The one year I decide to use my real hair, May decides to be a gloomy, rainy month (hint: My hair is naturally curly, but I will be straightening it for con. If it rains, my hair will get wavy =O )

I'll be coming back this year again as Vincent Valentine.

The Ranma 1/2 manga books are still available! Please help me move by taking the manga off my hands T__T I'll love you forever if you guys too (and so will my wallet). This means that I'll have one less box to move with ^_^

I'm also contemplating putting up some "Learn to Speak Japanese" books and CDs... If anyone is interested, I'll put them up along with some pictures and prices!

Buy/Sell/Trade / [WTS] Lots of manga! Take a look!
April 27, 2009, 05:20:34 PM
Okay, my first time posting here. I hope I'm doing everything correctly!

So I'm in the process of moving, and I need to get rid of some of my mangas. Most are all in very good condition, with no bent covers, spine breaks, etc.

I have a lot of books here, but I'm too busy with moving/finals to take pictures of everything. If you are interested in anything in particular, just send me a pm or leave a post here, and I'll snap some photos for you ^.^

I am also willing to negotiate prices, but please be reasonable!

Shipping: I will figure this out once we know how many items are being sent out. If you go to San Jose State, then maybe we can meet and exchange items/money in person.

Payment: Pay pal only, please.

Swaps: Maybe after I move (May 10th). There are a few mangas that I am on the look out for. Keep an eye out!

Biezenghast $5 each, $8 for both
Volume 1-2

Chronicles of the Cursed Sword $5
Volume 1

Cross $5 each, $8 for both
Volume 1 and 2

InuYasha
Volume 1 - 20 ($5 each, $20 for a set of 5, $95 entire set)
Volume 16, $5 (yes, I have two copies of vol. 16)
Volume 9, old version, $8
Ani-Manga Volume 1, $8
InuYasha Art book, $20

Ragnarok $5
Volume 4

Ranma 1/2 $80 for entire lot
Volume 1 - 16 ($5 each, $20 for a set of 5, $75 entire set)
Volume 29, $5

Return to Labyrinth $5
Volume 1

Zatch Bell $5 each, $30 for the whole set
Volume 1 - 7

Others:
I have a "Living Language" Japanese box set.
It comes with 3 CD's, a Learn to Speak Japanese course book, and a Japanese/English--English/Japanese dictionary.

I also have an "Essential Japanese Grammar" book.

I'm not too sure if I want to sell these yet, but if anyone's interested in buying both, I'll be willing to part with them ^_^
Once again, I am willing to negotiate prices, so long as it is within reason.

I'll be in as Envy again this year, provided that i can figure out how to paint a nice Oroborus (since I lost my old templates).

Yep.

Well, at least I am catching up to homework ^^;
I had quite a bit of work over the long weekend, and it was going to be due Wed.
So yesh. I was working pretty hard to get everything done on time.

Gluttony ate them.

Just kidding. They are probably busy catching up to real life, work, and homework XD

Quote from: "HeeroYuy135"The maid cafe I think was a successful experiment...now that everyone has seen the cafe, I think many more will be on board next year, and that the cafe can expand to be bigger space, contain more maids and butlers, and have a expanded menu.

I would love to see an expanded menu on the Fanimaid Cafe! Especially food that you can eat easily with a fork or spoon. -nod nod-
Soup and salad would be a wonderful addition, and I don't recall seeing them. I also am not sure if they will work with the whole theme of the cafe but... maybe?
The thing I liked most about the fanime cafe, however, was that it stayed open a bit longer than the other refreshment stands (mainly in the dealer's hall), which happened to close just when you got very hungry.

I also liked how in the gaming room and some of the smaller hallways, there were water dispensers and cups for the water. It would be nice to have something like that in the main hallway, because not everyone's costume or wig permits them to get a drink from the water fountain (or perhaps they just don't want to mess up their costume or make-up).
It's not a "must" of course, but it would be a nice little treat. ^_^

The air conditioning was improved this year, but it would be wonderful if it could be kept going all through con. I don't know if this is controlable or not, but you have my many thank yous for having it run for as long as possible.

Wooo! Day Zero starts tomorrow.
I wonder how I will ever sit through my classes on that day @_@
#10
Wuh? Combine?
As you can tell, I'm not the brightest crayon in the box XD
Anyways, let's leave things the way they are now. I've learned from experience that the more you change and tamper something, the more muddled it becomes.
#11
I'll be going as AC Reno and quite possibly Vincent.
#12
Woah, 10AM?
That's early @_@ Sort of.

Good thing I popped back in here before the con, heh...
#13
If 10 am works best for most people, then let's do that. For me, either time works, so long as it is Sunday.
#14
The Disney Gathering might be the Disney Princess one...

And 11 am works perfectly for me as well.
#15
10 am on Saturday? Well, I will see if I can make it... If I do, I will only be there for part of the gathering, and then I will have to be off.
#16
Were we talking about the gathering time and dates?

There are two Final Fantasy gatherings on Saturday the last time I have checked. They are at 2:30 and 3:00. That might clash with our FMA gathering. I'd really like to participate in Final Fantasy 7 gathering, and it might be problematic especially if I cannot get a hotel room so I can change costumes.

Also!
The Naruto gathering is on Saturday at 1:00 pm and Kingdom Hearts is at 4:00 pm. These two gatherings will probably also get a lot of people, since the anime and game are popular. Not everyone can get a hotel room, so they'll be in one cosplay the entire day, and thus can only attend one gathering. We might loose a lot of cosplayers this way. Bad idea.

So I vote for Sunday again. -nod-

Plus, conventions are not as crowded on Sundays, which allows for us to spread out.
#17
Weren't you the one I gave some of my Homunculus Treats to?
#18
People want my pictures?
Alright ^^;
But thanks for the compliments. Wow, Vic was really nice and so wonderful with the fans.

And Honenheim... How were the Q&A like? Apperantly, for a CLAMp panal at a particular convention, the questons were... Just very random and totally not what the fans wanted to hear.
#19
But aren’t sports bras and article of clothing? Doesn't Pride already sell clothes? Maybe Envy became a florist and sells palm trees?

Still... the sports bra idea would be funny XD

And I also heard of Hohenheim's skit ^_^ It's great.
#20
That... or Gluttony opened a pet store... Unfortunately, there aren’t too many pets left...
Although that's morbid and would send many people running away in tears.

And it would be funny if Envy were to sell sports bras, but I don't think that would be too acceptable. Maybe punk hair dye? Or he became a plastic surgeon. Now that would be creepy. Envy, holding up a whole bunch of dissection-like tools.
