...Please don't jump to conclusions without official word from staff =/

(Where did people read that Yuya's concert will start at 8pm...???)
Aiyah...I apologize for jumping conclusions. T__T I'm a bad bad person *smacks head with hammer nonstop* *bowbowbow*

I'm never going to make that assumption again Q__Q

Hey who wants to team up with me?! xD

I always find the camera thing difficult on me =.=lll

I am a local so I get dropped off for the entire day, and take my camera for cosplay photos...but then DUN DUN DUNNN. MF announces for all concerts "NO CAMERAS ALLOWED". xP Last year I trusted a stranger to keep my camera in her hotel room for LM.C. Luckily it was a nice stranger and I got my camera back.

Anyway, I'm also hoping the MF schedule comes out soon so I can plan on being one of the first people in line hehehe.

OMG I am so nervous...

I am thrilled that FLOW is coming to visit us again! They're like family to us now ^w^
And they are also going to increase their rep by going to Anime Central. I hope they get as much love in the Midwest as they do here!

Hopefully we won't have any technical difficulties...

Considering that Yuya's show will be around 8pm...FLOW's show will be earlier I suppose. Within the afternoon.

@Kaori: This looks awesome :O What is the LJ link to the fan club? I might join xD
I'll probably think about buying this, unless there is an official t-shirt from Fanime this year. >.< Like last year's musicfest t-shirt.
Is there a picture of the bonus light stick that comes with the Fanime preorders?

I've been going there since '08...ever since I was an exchange student between the two cities xD It gets boring year after year because it's the same stuff every year...so I MAY go. If I feel like it LOL.

You think you guys are going to have another panel this year?

Panels and Workshops / Re: Wig Styling Panel?
April 10, 2011, 06:06:01 PM
Most of the other repliers have covered what I need help with...so I'm there! It would help if you could show how to style a ponytail on a wig and how to keep it to stay. I'm hoping to go as the Vocaloid Dell Honne, and he has a ponytail. Instead of buying a character wig, I was going to buy a more generic wig and style it. I might need to trim bangs, too. I hope the panel will help me learn more about styling wigs!

Also, it would be nice to have a list of local wig stylers in the Bay Area, just in case. :D Thank You!

I would totally go if there is a JE panel :D I missed the one last year because I woke up late ^^;

Panels and Workshops / Re: Baked goods panel

Hey I am super interested in this panel if it happens. Just wondering, do you think you will make the foods in front of us and bring appliances if allowed? I would also request recipe cards for panel attendees so we can possibly make them at home! ^__^

Panels and Workshops / Re: J-Pop K-Pop Nation

Hello! Looks like this will be a fun panel :D
I would like to make some video suggestions ^.^ Are you looking for more unknown songs for cultured fans or popular songs for newbies?

Anyway:
Keep Your Head Down - TVXQ
Tonight - Big Bang
Naturally - Yuya Matsushita (since he is our MusicFest guest of honor, it would "naturally" be a choice for the panel)
Supa Luv - Teen Top
Genie - SNSD (just for "kicks"[lol get it?])
Addicted to Love - w-inds.
Be As One - w-inds.
Pride - SCANDAL
Goodbye Happiness - Utada Hikaru
Aitai Riyuu - AAA

well, there's a lot to choose from. hope I helped! ^^;

"everything is wrong with a little beiber ._.
i was not myself that night and i still left the dance after hearing it >.<"

I'm sure there are people who felt the same way about the music you like.
The goal of the dance is to provide a dance environment with continuity (at very
least in bpm).  Justin's song was at most 3 minutes long, and I'm sure the DJ
mixed out of it in 2 or 3 verses (2 minutes tops), so it's unfortunate your whole
experience was negative and based on 2 minutes.  I hope you come this year
with more of an open mind.  If your 2 hours of j-core/EDM cost you 2 to
5 minutes of discomfort, I would consider your decision rash.
I agree. I don't see how one bieber song could ruin a whole night. It's just one song, and one of 2 minutes at that! I think anyone with common sense would be able to bear just one bieber song.

Hey, don't worry about me I already got pre-reg ^.^ but I had a question: Did the price go up for early reg five dollars from before? I remember buying early reg for $55 haha I guess that was back in 2007.

Well, I don't really know much about any of this, but this is definitely not an April Fool's joke D:

Official policy is partner dances only.  :(  Unfortunately, people doing a line dance will tend to not use their peripheral vision.  We had a few accidents last year from line dancers colliding with partner dancers.  We do have a staff meeting this weekend, so I'll bring the line dancing issue up.
Oh I hope I find someone who is willing to dance with me if I go =__=; I have never been asked to dance by anyone before.

Technically, there is no age limit to MusicFest. Just to clear some things up, you don't need to go with a parent or guardian unless you are under 10 years old. It's not a requirement to bring an adult. MusicFest is part of the Fanime package if you buy a badge. So it's essentially up to you! You may bring a parent if you feel safe with one, but Fanime is pretty safe.
