Blaming Canada can only get you so far. That where we blame everything else on our public officials and the government.

Another question. I seem to have a torrent of them.

When will the price go up again for pre-registration?

Might be worth it to call up the hotel directly to find out.

Grazi, Gracias, Thanks, Dryhgoui.

Yeah I saw some threads about renovations. I'll keep it in mind. I'll also see about recruiting some friends to come along so we can split the cost.

For the record I'm over 18. Come to think of it, I'll be 19 come time for the con.

As for the knife. I can make a sheath to fit it. Sewing machine + Black webbing material, bit of one of those thin plastic cutting boards to fit around the knife should work.

As for the gun, it's a cheapo one, so I can remove the spring, or the trigger mechanism, if there's a problem. Meh, I can figure it out when I get to security.

Live steel, does that mean my combat knife, that I can't cut my own skin with, is allowable? I'm planning on doing a Snake from MGS 3 cosplay for part of a day.

My one concern would be my airsoft pistol Though I'm not planning to have it loaded.

Thanks.

Can I go off the 08 prices as a general guide or is that remotely accurate at all?

This is going to be my first Con, provided I can get everything in order and the stars align in my favor.

Any tips that could be shared, like which hotel to book at, who to book through? What is allowable for props. Stuff like that.

Which Hotels can I book at.

I was looking at a couple topics and the Housing Group was a term I saw come up. Any infor would be helpful as this is going to be my first Con, I'd like to know what I'm faceing.

Call me blind as a bat if I missed it, but I'm trying to find a weapons and prop policy, and I just can't seem to find it.

So it's effectively cheaper to pay for the full weekend pass and come for the days I can.

Right?

So it's not a per day price. This'll be my first con if I manage to scav. enough cash to go. Because of Gas prices I'm thinking about springing the extra hundred to stay at the Ramada rather than the motel six. Because I'd burn through a hundred dollars of gas most likely in traffic.

Currently the Pre-registration fee is 50 dollars. Is this a total fee for pre-registration or is there more cost?
