I'm new at this FORUM posting thing, and Totally a noob at Fanime. This year Fanime 2011, I'm planning to sell my artworks at the artist alley!!!
I really hope I get in, But if I didn't this post isn't all bad, at least I would've learned something new

I'm an Anima/Manga Artist, And I do a lot of Fanart, I hope that's not a bad thing...
Then again I do an equal amount of Originals, I'm not really skilled and I know I still have a lot to learn, but

besides, erh, the display case is more of a side ways Ghiradelli Chocolate hand outs~!.. like those jelly belly beans!.. except if you tilted side ways.. its a display case..

My pins however are going to be stored into a godiva chocolate case ><!

they aren't made of clay, but more of shrinky dinks instead!....
well I did made some copies of the pins but since I did'nt know people like originality then i kinda puts me in a position about worrying the bags I created!
They are all the same copies but the Fiber optic hairs are in different colors!

All I can say is this...
The table I have (yeah I can announce this) is going to be a full set (2 chairs). I don't know how big 6 ft is, but I can promise you its enough to have someone else eat popcorn and looking at your stuff while you leave an open space to work with commissions. I think..
I just hope I can arrive there on time and have a great time selling my works...

oh No, that's not what I meant, a lot of items can have copies like my bookmarks for example, they will be sold for less because I made so many copies, but special items like my big prints, which is limited in print will be sold a little higher then original big prints with lots of copy.

As a collector myself, I value limit edition items, more then those that can be owned by everyone, it makes me feel special that i'm a part of those 100 peple in the whole world, who own a limited edition item.

I can't believe im still pushing myself to go beyond my own/people's expectations.

I just finished making my fourth bag and apparently most of the batteries are dead -_-!...

Let's try this, even though Its abit risky.. I might leave the both there and make sure its not tampered with..because I was very certain artist alley is going to close its doors.. so who knows...

if the doors do closed then I can leave te both the way it is and the stuff can be locked up!..
if the doors are still open (why is beyond and belief here) then I'm partially screwed...

I think its best if I take the merchandise with me since I am putting alot of effort on them (both the bags and the pins) So Maybe I might arrived around 2:30 -3pm. I know I need to arrive 11am - because the performance start at 12am, but I fear that the schedule is putting us around 2 pm, and its an hour long so that leaves me at 3pm to leave, I go back home, get the back up stuff, arrived there around 4pm..... or maybe less erh......
I am soooo going to be ""Ticked off""" if I arrive at 6pm on saturday  >:(

erh, is anyone still having interested on home made phone straps? I was planning to do them but I'm kinda having some second thoughts!

And sicnce all of them are homemade, you can say it's one of a kind, and just don't remake the same design, a lot of people value original, it's like a limited edition thing.

@Mistiousstar well, i guess this answers your table question (it also gave a hint). Not to worry I know I can preset this up, hopefully less than 10 minutes.. even though im soo going to be late thanks to my musical performance!
I guess right now, the thing in your mind is whats in it for me.. well its too early to talk about it since im working hard on creating bags, A bottle for the state fair and getting a decoration done in time!

well, let's see. I assume your decoration will take up the whole space, weither it be half or full, right?

I was thinking, since I would be there for the morning, and if you were able to set it up so it fits half the table, I can look after your stuff, untill you come. And if anyone was interesting in your products, I'll just inform them to come back, around noon or so. So ,half of the table, I can fit my things, and your's will still be there. Remember if you have keychians and small items, find a secure way to fasten them to the display board, so it won't be an easy target for theft.

@ Ren_Zhao, thanks for the information, I already contacted AAA for the response.. hopefully they can reply back because I don't know anything about Table sharing. This is the first time im doing this actually O_o....

@ Mistiousstar, make sure you Have your paper work. I will see if I can figure out how to edit my boa as well since I don't know if AAA wanted to have your name on my BoE forms or you have to bring your own boE forms O_o.. so im kinda at a huge loss..

@Hachimitsu-ink- I can tell it's confusing, but, just incase AA staff said you can't change it, I have my sellers permit ready. And if they suggest to change the permit or info on the BOE form, you should've recieved the package that came with the permit. Call the number to make any changes. This is a rather easy process, it's just the part about filing Tax. But we can worry about that later XD

I don't know if you got replies about the putting stuff away.... but here I go....

As a part of Fanime Staff, we are NOT patrolling the artist alley when it is closed. There is the possibility of some not so smart people (Stupid Jerks) going in and stealing art.
I would recommend taking as much as you can so you don't have to worry about theft.

Thanks for the info about sunday, I failed to recall that.. yeah the posters has to be high priced becuase they are kinda 3-4 times bigger than the actual 8x 11 prints!..
but i can sell those as well on prints.. I really am hoping I know what im donig with the prints because I really wanted to make their moneys worth. I guess 25 would work on friday and saturday...
but im still concern on the new items.

Now lets (not) talk about the booth.
I really wanted to keep things as a surprise ^_^!..
for now, I suggest to think 2 ideal plans!. one for half and one for full!...
reason why I am keeping it a low profile because I really really really want to surprise people not only in artworks but also in ideas and Decorations!..
(besides my hint is giving a huge huge detail of what the table schematics is)

I need to figure out more stuff to sell incase if the posters are way to expensive.. but i was so certain thats how much posters cost in today's pricing. last 4 years it was just $20...

I know it costs $15 to make at least 1 (with shipping and taxing and all sorts...) I want to charge either $20 or $25 for a 18 x 24 Print..

Did you guys leave your stuff (booth decorations) during the convention? or did you put them under neath a table and take our mechandise with you?

Well to be honest I recall last year that most of the tables did put away but the pvc pipes are still there, but keep this in mind this was 3-4 years ago!...

erh i can't explain in details since I really would like to make a "surprises"!.. I can tell you this, Apparently I'm trying to sell something no one has done so its very complicated to get the prints to happen, I don't know what my aim is for selling works but I know I wanted to sell something that no one has done before!...

Well Im going to be in the Swap meet on thursday because apparently the badge pick up is now divided into 2 regions.
One that is registered and the other is swap meet registered. Last year we arrived late on the thursday because the line was VERY long!...

I might be asking your help for fanime on saturday (morning and parts of afternoon) since I have a big musical performance to go to!...and I know its going to be avery long and Impatient waiting at the MCCLA.

@ AA admin everyone, if you can't have someone with you to have them sell their own artworks. how does this effect the regulations on "table sharing" ? (meaning: I paid a table do I need to have their copy of "Equal... forms" or do I need to register their name onto my forms?, (@ mistioustar: I might willing to share a spot, but then only temporary since I have events to go to, like Swap meet and gatherings, I also wanted to go to the steam punk panels (which is a big drag on my end ).

reason im asking this out of the blue is because we might have a hard time trying to show up at the artist alley on saturday because of a Music performance around 10-2pm, and I fear that AAA will sell our table even though I paid it for a full week! Hence why I need someone to help me out. I'm asking mistiousstar to temporary sell her works on my table even though im going to arrive Very very late >_<!...

hey Mistiousstar, cheer up I know you can get a table soon, even if AA rejects it, it still does'nt stop other people from allowing themselves to share their spots with you. You have alot of terrific artworks and it did inspired me to work on my own set of chibis!..
