Fanime will be taking group pictures during the Gathering/Event this year. If you do not want to be included in those pictures please step aside for those photos. By remaining with the group when the pictures are being taken you give your consent to be photographed.

With the new rules about gatherings, I was prompted by the Fanime gatherings organizer to make a new thread to coincide with the cosplay.com thread I run. This will be the new AC gathering thread, since the other one is pretty much dead. :) Sorry about the confusion!

Unfortunately, the schedule isn't really up yet, and the large gatherings haven't really been posted. How about we all start to throw out days we'll be available, and what each person would prefer. We'll also be discussing it on the cos.com thread, if you're more likely to frequent that site (I sure am).
Added a poll on the cosplay.com thread concerning what day the gathering should be. If you don't have a cos.com account, just post your preference here, and I will take all replies into account.

Might I suggest the front right hand side of the convention building.
There are many trees. stairs and cool things around there.
If not perhaps I could find us a place in the area near by to take photo's.
I agree that we should be on a side of the convention building. I do like the right side, because there are trees there, and there's also that weird wall that offers a bit of shade. It'll also be easy for people to find us if they arrive a bit late, but we wont be blocking any main entrances.

Update me on the list. My costume is going to be like Altair, but more additions in armor and hidden blades. So i guess it has become an original character? Oo
OTL I haven't started on my Malik cosplay...BUT! I got 50 buckand I'll be working on it this weekend! wooooo!
Aphaestus - I figure that still counts as Altair, but I can add that there will be original modifications. Would that work?

I'm not sure we can come to the gathering on Saturday... :( We have the FF gathering at 1, and our costumes take like 2 hours to get into, do hair/makeup for, etc. And later Sat we have 2 private FF photoshoots... So idk. I was so hoping this would be Fri or Sun.
Oh and that Altair armor is amazing. O.O

I think I might re-do my Malik cosplay because I'm not liking it. ;n;
But I was wondering, would a heavy cotton or a woolish fabric be the best or even a afghan. What fabric would be good.

Alright! SO I got new fabric for my Malik cosplay,re-did it, (With out a pattern, I was so scared that i would mess up!), finished it in four hours and it looks good! :D

Right now I am going to propose the following, so please, PLEASE chime in if you have any objections, concerns, questions, etc.

I did not hear from Junkeemunky that she would not be able to handle this gathering. Have you tried to contact her via email? by pm on both forums? Let me know.
