+Those of you who do not have text may receive missions from the Cosplay Gathering Booth in the Convention Lobby.

Of course, you don't HAVE to play to get to the gathering. I will naturally let the Cosplay Staff (BSaphire) know where the location of the gathering will be prior to con, so you can just ask the Cosplay Gathering Info Table if you don't feel like joining The Game. (Or, y'know, go where all the cosplayers are congregating XD)

Oooooh, I remember you talking about this after last Fanime! The Reaper's Game that is. I'd love to participate if I can; unfortunately I might not be able to while cosplaying Rhyme, since I have a different gathering to attend sometime in the afternoon, which also means I probably won't be able to make it to the TWEWY gathering, sadly (since I couldn't be there last year either).
Also, Hellangel, Ko and I are still up for some Masquerade mingling, if you're game!

If you cannot get Twitter: Mission Mail will be physically delivered to the COSPLAY BOOTH (located in the lower lobby)
This will run essentially like a scavanger hunt. You will have an allotted time to find a particular person on my team and win a challenge. The location/person will be listed in the Mission Mail, of course (though not always obvious...hehe). Subsequent missions will require a piece of information from the previous mission.
IMPORTANT! HAVE YOUR DS! It will be helpful!
If you have difficulty...
1) My team will be in a chatroom during the course of each mission.
2) You may Twitter questions.
3) Consult other people! You can work with however many people you want. (Cuz...we can't control how many people you walk around with, so. XD)
IF YOU FAIL A MISSION, don't panic. Go to the Cosplay Booth; the information that you needed will be delivered there by a Reaper, so you can still continue. We're not out to get you. Much. 8D
Again, if you want to come only for the Gathering, that's cool. Info will be at the Cosplay Booth.

Sorry if the Game was a little lame and not as challenging this year...we kind of were just testing out the logistics of it XD I've gotten feedback from a few players; feel free to leave me more!! Next year we plan to run it with better prizes, lol. (I've been told that Kariya was hard on you guys in the first round...will reprimand him for scaring you guys XD But I can't hold back the awesome that is our Tin Pin Slammer person, though! SO PRACTICE! ...althoug he sucked at Rock Paper Scissors...)
Speaking of which, those of you who reached Pork City, apologies for the technical malfunction; I actually have the picture prizes for each of you now!! PM me an address and I can mail 'em to ya ;D (please specify if you were in te first group or the second group).
Just throwing my opinion in about the event here~
It was overall pretty fun~ but I missed the 3rd mission so I never saw the ending ...
Strangely enough the first mission was a breeze for me as I was on a TWEWY information spree, but yeah, the questions were a bit difficult especially for players who don't pay attention to the fine details (especially the question about the Happy Beam (?) pin activation-it's hard to remember pin names and how they are used)
The Tin Pin Slammer challenge was pretty unorganized. It was a giant mass of people who just waited in the heat for their chance to challenge the 'Composer'. People just forced their way in the game to play while many others had to wait (though I believe most conversed and mingled).
So that's all I have to say about the event. Mainly my concern was how the Tin Pin Slammer mission was run but that's pretty much it.

I cosplayed as Hanekoma last year but didn't even know there was a game and missed the gathering by about half an hour.
This year im not going as Hanekoma per se but his costume is gonna part of mine so ill come to the gathering.
You don't need to cosplay to play :)

If there is, I'd recommend having it on Sunday. Saturday seems quite booked.

If it's on Friday though, I would suggest having it later in the afternoon, so some people who get out of school late can still attend.

The problem is that most major events are in the afternoon/evening, and I think most other people are already scheduled out at those times =/

Most people should be good to go by Friday night, though.
I just can't run it on Saturday/Sunday because 1)most people have other gatherings/events to attend 2)some people will have Masquerade check-in/practice 3)I'm running other gatherings/photoshoots...

Anyone remember how long it took us back in 2010? I'm thinking almost two hours, but that would be just my guess.

Last year we started the Game at 11AM and the gathering was at 1PM...so, yeah, 2 hours. I think I did it that way so that people who couldn't play at a certain time could still play halfway through...? Something like that...

11-1 sounds like when we played. All I really remember is running up the stairs in one of the hotels because it was faster than the elevator xD
I remember 2010 was about two hours plus gathering time.
I think Friday could work; I had a slight change of plans, so I think my latest arrival time is around 9PM... Could we do the gathering at 9:30 or 10, or is that too late for everyone? I don't want to screw everyone else up.
Also; I'm cosplaying Neku, not Joshua. :P

Damn, if it is Friday night, I can't make it D: I have Swap Meet set up and opening between 5-8PM, plus selling until 11, and potentially Speed Dating if they gave me Friday night...I really wanted to get a picture with someone as Beat too... :(

So do we still need to get five more people to hit 15 or is our illustrious Composer satisfied yet? I've been trying to get more people to come but sadly I don't know many TWEWY cosplayers. I'll be really depressed as I'm sure we all will be if this doesn't happen.
Since I'm trying to be optimistic, do we have any ideas for a day/time? As I mentioned, I'd prefer any day but Friday since I'll be driving up that day and I don't know when I'll be arriving (it seems I'm not the only one in this boat).
Also, @ruby19_4 - I assume you've played TWEWY since you've wandered in here? They run a Reaper's Game every year for the TWEWY gathering. Basically, they issue missions through Twitter and you have to solve them and then the final mission is to find the location of the gathering.
Haha, put in a petition with the Composer, we'll see what happens. If it's not Friday, will you guys mind doing something in the night on the other days, then?

Had discussions with Composer and it has been decided that, since there's huge discrepancies among Players this year about when to have the Game/Gathering, we are going to postpone it this year (as con is like...tomorrow).
HOWEVER, you can expect bigger, better Game next year. The only hint we can give you right now is that Shops will be involved, hehe...
As to the question of who the Composer is - that's a secret! ;D
