Due to a pretty big money shortage on my end, I cannot cosplay as Shinjiro. HOWEVER! I can still run the gathering! Don't think I just bailed out on you guys ;n; Trust me, if I get a job and can pay to cosplay him then I WILL but I can't guarantee that because jobs are pretty hard to get nowadays.
ANYWAY! I will still be there, and I'll be taking a WHOLE BUNCH of nice pictures to post for you guys.

Fanime will be taking group pictures during the Gathering/Event this year. If you do not want to be included in those pictures please step aside for those photos. By remaining with the group when the pictures are being taken you give your consent to be photographed.

Well if someone else else wants to do Minato, I'll probably just do DeSu's MC, so we can have more diversity. (Plus DeSu is terribly under-represented at cons. :( )

Well I hope the $$'s change so you can :) Wanted to stop by and let you know that when you pm me your info to include the midnight gathering. I'd love to list it & I love the idea! You can initial for both during the day one. I will also see about having a photog there to shoot it :) Midnight can be perfect for some gatherings and this is one of them!

Also, if everyone IS down for King's Game, then change mine from Naoto to Rise. Gotta do this in character. ;)
With the rules set by the Cosplay Department, the one who creates the thread has to be the one who submits to said department.
So if OP is absent and we're running out the time, the only way that someone else can submit the gathering is if we abandon this thread, someone else makes a new thread, and then that person does the paperwork.
That's why we keep asking for the OP because we don't want to turn this into a hijacked gathering.
So, I sent the OP an email, asking if he's alright. Hopefully we'll hear from him soon.

Hey everyone. I was cosplaying summer!Souji at both gatherings.
What exactly happened with the midnight one? It got broken up about 20~30 minutes in by Rovers D: Needless to say, no one ate dinner that night.

Hello everyone, I was the Catherine from Catherine at both of the gatherings.
It was nice seeing everyone at the gathering and seeing all of the SMT love <3 And thank you so much for including me! :)

I had a great time at both gatherings. Too bad the midnight gathering got cut by the big guys. >:( Still had a great time during the short time we were down there and had tons of fun with those at King's Game. ^^ I'll also make an appearance at AX, so if any of y'all are going, hope to see you there! ;D
This was my first ever gathering at Fanime and I loved it! Just to be with other fans of SMT made me feel all warm inside. I hope to see you all again next year if this happens again. ;D
So...what are we going to do for next year?
@AirEric: If you will be running this gathering again next year please update subject line on your first post to say 2012.
I also would like to suggest a 2nd organizer to assist you with one or both of the gatherings next year. I am sorry that the midnight SMT gathering was harassed by Rovers, and I will talk with the Rovers about it for next year.
Please note that any gatherings that happen after 7pm should have already had the organizer check in with the Gatherings Table & that I can not guarantee a CGD photographer to be present, but I will try to get a night crew together for 2012. CGD has out grown it's current @ con set up and is being revamped for 2012.
I also hope to have a cosplay for this gathering by next year, but right now there is only a 20% chance due to all that is on my plate already.
Thanks for all your work this year and I hope to see you next year.
