I was Stocking all weekend. I had the default version (with sword, hone neko plush, and sometimes orange lollipop) and pajama version (just plush and sometimes lollipop).

References photos:
Me as default Stocking (with Garterbelt and a Panty I met at the con):

Also looking for my friend.
My friend as default Panty (has gun):

My friend as pajama Panty (sometimes with a pink pair of undies):

I hung out with a Garterbelt cosplayer (and eventually a Panty cosplayer) a good chunk of Friday in the default version. On Saturday, I hung out with a pajama Panty. On Sunday, I was with default Panty.

Idea lovingly stolen from the Fanime cosplay.com thread here

Basically, just ask your fellow users here if you have pics (or video) of your cosplay from 2011 in this thread. Put down the character you cosplayed, what series he/she/it is from, and what day(s) you wore it. It's also good if you add some type of reference shot of yourself in the cosplay but that's not mandatory.
If you see someone you took a pic/video of, go ahead and post again (or PM each other) to let the user know where they may see the pics/video so they can feel the love. <3

***EDIT BY MOD***
Please post links to photos and not the photos please. Thank you

Usually gallery pics are posted in the cosplay section of the forums.

But anywho, I'm looking for myself. Crosspost from coscom:

Damn, I was thinking my bag was just missing it. Those pocket style guides were super awesome last year.

That's what I was thinking too. I was gonna go ask for one at info desk but then I asked around and people didn't have it.

Lordy next time I go to day zero, I'm bringing a book. But the people around me were pretty cool to talk to.

@Toves: I don't normally do holds. Also, I forgot to mention in my word doc that the $3 per volume was for manga volumes. Art books like the ones you mentioned are a bit more.

Added pics for the wigs I'm selling. I'm too lazy to go take pics of the figs I'm selling.

Hope to see you all tomorrow/Friday!

@Avairrianna: Some do. I like putting a mat or blanket on the floor because I don't like sitting on concrete for several hours haha.

Also, plushes get dirty if I keep it just on the concrete.

@abcbadcat: Sent.

I never posted in this thread...

Here's what I'm selling:

I'll be taking pics of the things I haven't yet soon. See you all at the swap meet!

Updated with rough pricing before the swap meet. Of course, I'm willing to haggle any prices listed. I'll be taking pictures of stuff I haven't yet today.

@abcbadcat: $3ish.
#30
@cottoncandymuffin: $3 per volume give or take.

Of course during the actual swap meet, I'm willing to haggle. :)

@MikeTSA: You get to decide what spot you are in. The staff will go in order of registration number and then each person/group can decide where to go. So number one decides this spot, then number two decides that spot, etc.

9. When you register *online*, you will get a number for each day (example: 19). We will have "Southwest Style" grouping areas in the line outside (1-20, 21-40, 41-60, etc.). If you are #19, you would get into group 1-20. You will be served according to your number. So, #1 is first, then #2, etc. There will be signs posted outside of Exhibit Hall 3 with your Last Name and your Registration number, in case you forgot what it is.

For the new policy change, what if the character doesn't have a holster?

My friend is cosplaying as Panty (from Panty and Stocking with Garterbelt) and will have a gun similar to these pictures (except it's made out of wood):
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v294/redroses3164/Front.jpg
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v294/redroses3164/Back.jpg

It's going to fairly shiny as well. Will we need some sort of makeshift holster anyway even if the character never has one?
No, that's fake enough that it won't need a holster. You're fine still.

But that is a legitimate question. Unfortunately, when it comes to replicas, it doesn't matter if your character has a holster, we're requiring you to have one.

For this gun (same picture links in quotes), I won't be having a hole or a tip for a barrel. Do I still need to have an orange tip anyway? If yes, then I'll mod it to have one this week.

Again, this prop is going to be out of wood instead of paper/cardboard.

I think it's weird that someone would. I wouldn't necessarily talk down to them or think badly of them but I usually think of cosplaying as a character you really like from whatever medium he/she/it is from.

Being in a group is more "forgiving" I guess but I'll still find it weird anyway.

That being said, I think that the person who never seen the source material should at least read about whatever they are cosplaying from to know the general feel of the character and look at various screenshots or whatever images are available so that when they get their picture taken, they can pose not too OOC.

Edited my post.

@Barnes: PSG has gotten quite a lot of attention at other cons (well from me just glancing through other photographers' photos) so I expect a lot over the weekend actually. Pretty stoked.

@Rhornez: Oakland isn't too far off from Fremont. It's about 15-20 minutes on 880 depending on traffic.

@zeroelement: Well, if you do want to meet people, usually you set a time/place and then people go (like the cosplay.com ones). I went to the picnic norcal gathering that was held in SJ because of the thread on coscom.
