I only had a couple things to mention, because everything else was fine with me.

I don't know if it was just me, but the Dealer's Room wasn't good this year. Most of the merchandise available was the same thing as the booth next door, so the only thing I could do in there was see if one booth was selling for cheaper. And, this is just my personal thing, but I found it annoying that most of the things I saw for sale were Naruto or Bleach. Since I'm not anything more than an occasional fan of the series', I was left with little else to purchase. Hopefully next year there will be more dealers to choose from.

I also got irked by the order of performance at MusicFest. I loved all the bands that played, but with all the jumping around and throwing of the horns, most of us seemed extremely tired by the time UP HOLD came up. Given their style of music, many would've expected to go as crazy as possible. Maybe if they (or bands like them) performed earlier, then the group can get the crazy jumping and horn-throwing they deserve.

Lastly, I wish that more people came to MusicFest. I know that at the Masquerade the seats are completely filled, but there's not as much love for the bands that traveled many hours just to perform that one night. It won't hurt to check it out one year, won't it?

I'd like to attend, but I can't say for sure unless I know the real date :P (I've only read the first post so I haven't seen suggestins).

I'm very sorry to hear about Koneko. I was looking forward to meeting you  #-o

I like the ideas for the panel so far. Most especially towards open discussion, I think it'll be the best part. Hopefully I'll be able to pull off a decent Junpei outfit by the end of this month, I'm saving for new boots.

It's 1am, so I have only perused one possibility...

On a recent rant on MT, Piro mentioned a book dealing with webcomics, and that he and his site were mentioned as one of seven or so that influenced development of webcomics. But he gives credit also to Largo because his vision of MT was more "webcomic" than his own. So perhaps if we were to dwelve further into "what makes a webcomic", it could work as a GTL lesson?

Heh, I like that ^_^ I could see it as something we'd see in the introductory video.

I'm not a veteran GTL goer, so what topics and themes have been used in past shows? I don't want to suggest anything that's already been done.

Heh, I like the idea of Mosh Mosh Revolution  :D I remember trying to fashion a model of it for a school project. Too bad there were rules against "potential harm to others and/or oneself".

Quote from: "lyricaldanichan"I haven't been to the Milpitas Golfland in a long time but I guess they are the beatmani headquarters for the bay area now?

Just about. I mostly play the Drum Mania game there, often enough that I'd rather bring my own drumsticks than use the ones they give you behind the counter. Mine are too thick though, so I'm always worried that I'd break the cymbal pad :P

Mosly shoujo stuff. I'm in it for the comedy, though. I can't stand some anime when everything is serious and psycho-thriller. It's no fun.

Now, when you show me some good fandub....  :D

Man, I was planning to go there tomrrow and I hear there's barely any manga left. Looks like I need to drive to McCarthy to get that Negima.

The only place I can go to now for good times is Golfland... and I suck at golf.

Heh, Nickel City XD

Well, Media Play was practicaly the only big store there that could offer movies, games, anime, and any other electronic goodies. Like a cooler version of Best Buy (IMO). I don't think they'd attract the same sort of customers unless they replace it with a store that can meet their similar needs. So I just have a hunch they'd replace it with a store franchise like Media Play, albeit more expensive ^^;

Eh, I'm only a teenager. I'm probably wrong.

Man, I remember the days that I would rollerblade for about 20 minutes so I could buy a Leninade from BvMo!, and then find a manga to read/buy. Without a Media Play to have fun in, a Vans skatepark to make fun of the kids that beef it, or a Kyuun to buy my necessary goods.... let's just boycott Great Mall XD

Question, though: what store do you think will replace it?

Hopefully one with DVDs and manga... [-o<

Any MusicFest is worth going to as long as Ramen & Rice come back  :D I don't mind who else shows up.

Heheh... I keep getting a funny image of a Gallagher-like segment where Largo destroys objects that he deems as "obsolete".

But of course, I'd suggest supplying the first few rows with ponchos if that was ever a possible event ^^;
