There's tons of radio ads for the Cash Creek Casino supposedly doing stuff for the 8.8.08 psuedo holiday.
unforunately i'm not off until 6pm and the drive into that area is at least 3 hours, so anyone want to try their "asian" luck between 10pm and midnight?
otherwise, who wants a 'quiet' poker or heck Chaotic Custom Uno game night?

8-8-08 is lucky? This is good to know. :D Instead of driving all the way down to Cash Creek, I'll just stick to the local casinos. (sometimes it's good to living in Reno). If I win MegaBucks on 8-8-08 I'll buy you guys dinner. lol.

but im still down to hang out and do watever. Worse case scenario, I'll drive ya back home to oakland around 2 or 3 am.

Yes, Garden City is all cards including blackjack, baccarat, and pai gow. I never been there myself. The place has lots of activity when I drive by there. And there is a restaurant. I think it's all you can eat, and I'm not referring to Super Buffett.

Well I tried my luck...and no joy. Actually I got a lot of play out of my money, but I didn't win anything significant. Now I'm all set to sit on my couch and watch the Olympics.
Good news is...I no longer work for the City of Reno! Thank God I'm done with that ugly summer job...as of Monday I'm back with the Washoe County School District...and that makes me SOOO happy. ;D
