Fanime will be taking group pictures during the Gathering/Event this year. If you do not want to be included in those pictures please step aside for those photos. By remaining with the group when the pictures are being taken you give your consent to be photographed.

Hooray for a 4th consecutive year~! Keeping with the tradition, there will be the regular Umineko gathering and the tea party in the park. This is by no means a cosplayer - only event, any Umineko fan is welcome to come!

        Along with the Umineko Gathering we'd like to do a special event for the fellow cosplayers who joined in with the gathering or maybe were unable to meet there. This would be a fun time to either be OOC for once and maybe get your fellow cosplayer's names and numbers.
        With that the event we are holding will be a Tea Party (Potluck Style) like last year for the gathering! During this event we'll be hanging out enjoying each other's company and have morning tea in the park. Please make sure to bring enough food or drinks to share with more than a couple people if possible. :)

I wanna throw in Saturday for the gathering since Sunday'll be the Zelda one and that one will be my most complex look (need to paint a good portion of my body!). XD Just my two cents o3o;

That's totally fine! Only the tea party will be Sunday morning before the Homestuck chaos but Saturday is also more convenient for me as I will be prepping for the masq Sunday~ :D

As you may know the convention center is undergoing construction and there is a new gathering location where registration used to be. I know this gathering hasn't had a set location (lol thank you if you came to the 2011 gathering for walking all the way to the Fairmont) but do you seacats have a preference where the gathering should be? Specifically, inside or outside?

I'm gonna have to be a giant maybe at this point in time, but there's a possibility that I'll be going as Erika. I'll let you know when I have things sorted out for sure, but yeah, a "maybe" should do it for now.

Half of me wants to say why not join both gatherings? XD OH MAN. I would need to juggle on two gatherings x.x Oi... Yeah, what time for the gathering? XD I have a KH gathering at 5. x-x

How does 1pm on Saturday work for everyone?

Ahhh if it's Saturday, then I can't make it :( Friday would be the best for me since there are other gatherings I had already planned for Saturday... Sorry :(

Umineko and Higurashi gatherings are on the same day at the same time....... How is this going to work??? :(

I keep wondering why both gatherings just don't join into one .-.

we did that four years ago but people cant cosplay both higurashi and umineko like i cant be bernkastel AND rika at the same time. so if it stays the same time then i can only go to the tea party because i said i was going to the higurashi gathering first. ill talk to atikal about it as well.

Oh! That makes sense. D: Well, I guess it would be up to our host then. I sadly would not be able to make the tea party since I see a ton of gatherings I want to photograph gatherings at that time. I can suggest maybe a 3 time for Umineko? x.x But I totally do see your point D:

May I suggest G8a for a gathering area? Since 1pm Saturday seems to not have that taken yet. I do hope the OP wanders by here soon D:

Hey Seacats! So do you guys know what AP stands for? A (whole lotta) Pain! lol Anyway, I'm very sorry about my hiatus but AP tests are finally over! So just to confirm for everyone, Umineko Gathering will be held Saturday at 1pm at G8a (if you walk up to the convention center you go to the left towards the tree area by the Marriott Hotel) and the Uminkeo Tea Party will be held Sunday at 10am at the Caesar Chavez Park. Ill make maps and post them on the first post! ^^

Also still I don't know all the details about the time or the Higurashi Gathering. But I do know our locations are right next to each other so if it is the same time as our gathering, Sea Cats and Hinamizawans will be able to meet up and do some When They Cry group photos. :)

They're actually at 4PM that same day so it'll just be us o3o

I was the only Battler on Saturday and one of the... four or five on Sunday.
