Just the topic I was looking for!
I could go onto Cosplay.com and post, but I came here first. My boyfriend and I plan on going, but we're not sure who yet. As you can see... *points to sig* I have four choices, but I didn't know which to be for the gathering. And my boyfriend would either be Lloyd or Jade (once I make/fix the cosplays).
Which one would you guys like to see at the Tales gathering?
Yay Tales!~I will be going as Legretta. My sisters will be coming too as Sync and Arietta but it will depend on the day for them becuase they do not live in San Jose.
I'll be finishing my Jade costume for Fanime, and I am making Frings for a friend as well. I'm pretty sure our Guy will be coming too
Has there been any talk of day/time yet for a gathering?

Maybe on Friday should be good. There seems to be alot going on Saturday. Does that work with everyone's work and school schedules?

Just got my hotel reserved so I'm go for Fanime. Harold will definately be there! :D I started the costume over a year ago, now to commit to finishing it.

His theme song is really good and catchy as well. If we can just get a Karol and Flynn, we would have the whole cast for this event. My friend will be doing a Repede mascot costume. Maybe someone can do Patty La Fleur as well from the version we probably will never see in the Western territories...

Its a new tales mothership game that had just been release in Japan not too long ago so no one in the US knows about it much but since I played the the Japanese version, I pretty much know it >_<;;

I was so excited when I saw there was a "Tales Of" Gathering! I recently convinced a few of my friends to make some TOD costumes. ;)
I'll be there as OriginalFlavor!Leon from Tales of Destiny with my darling Makoto as Reala from Tales of Destiny 2. :)

Sad news... Sad, sad news. D:
Because of all the raising of tuition costs and other costs of college life (plus my horrible luck of finding a job), I won't be able to complete my cosplay as Estelle this year. I have some parts, but I just don't have the time or money to get it to a point I would be comfortable wearing it in.
I'm still going to show up for some sort of support, though. And of course to take pictures! So, you'll still see me around. :3
Oh the gathering looks so big this year > w<. Alas, this shall be the first year I don't do Tales cosplay ;__;. I think I'll stop by and check you guys out though. It's always been fun :3.

Its either Yuri or Flynn because of the sword but then again...how many wepon can be equipped to the player x.x
Or Judith cause one of her spears look like that as well but you can tell if its a spear because the image was only half.
Or I am way off and your not cosplaying as any of the main character but maybe the enemy or one of the guilds member...

@Rozuki - sorry to hear that, but that's understandable. I'm trying to get through school myself as well here..

So just in case the information got lost in the shuffle of life.... Fanime's Theme for this year is Fantasy RPG. I know that the Final Fantasy series is always big amongst cosplayers, but many of the Tales of.... series are Fantasy RPG and I would absolutely LOVE to see more Tales of ... cosplayers at the Fanime Theme Gathering. So I want to invite all of you who can to come to the theme gathering and represent your fantasy RPG! Please post in the thread too!

Alright everyone, how is 1:30 PM on Friday?

Oh just some news, I'm struggling through class at the moment so I might don't have time to finish Asbel in time. All I have left is the Jacket and the design to work out on but the design is the most killing part of all and it takes a lot of patience to add them on \o/ So put me in as Arietta since I already have that costume from last year gathering >< So if I can't make it as Asbel, I have Arietta still. Thank you >o<
